“I have bought a few ‘BuyaGift’ vouchers in the past and always found it so easy to buy,, redeem and always FAB value. However, on this occasion I felt rather miffed as I thought I had bought the fastest zip wire experience for a first wedding anniversary gift, only to realise after reading other people’s reviews that I had bought the lessor 3-zip wire Titan experience in error...!! It took the edge off my excitement and I realise now that it should have been the High Velocity experiences. I don’t think thank that the explanation of this particular experience was fully explained, but I do accept it was my fault. This is the only time I have really felt disappointed with ‘BuyaGift’, hence the lower star rating.on this occasion.”

“I saw the special offer for afternoon tea for 2 at Marco Pierre White in Birmingham and decided to book 2. I was looking for something special for myself, 2 sisters in law and mother in law as my father in law died at the end of last year and its been a difficult time, we needed some cheering up.
I received the email with 2 codes and as I needed to book both together I did this immediately and managed the first one fine however, when I tried to book the second one because the code was almost identical with the only difference being A and B at the end, it would not let me proceed as I was advised the code had already been entered. I made a few more attempts and even tried the same code but nothing worked. As it was after 5.30 I had to wait until the following morning to ring and try and sort the problem out.
It made the whole booking very stressful.”

“Ordered a 3 course meal at the Gherkin,Searcy restaurant for my sisters birthday, It was ordered on Friday 7th June at 10-15 am , with delivery guaranteed by post for 3 to 5 working days as she was coming down from York . By the end of Friday 14 th nothing had arrived , so got up Saturday morning to phone about problem to be answered by recorded message saying customer is not available at weekend , phone Monday . I phoned Monday and was told my order had not been put through but did not offer any excuse and would now dispatch my order to late to hand to my sister !”

“Purchased afternoon tea at the Taj 51 hotel for 2 people for £80. Easy to use and lots of options for other gifts. Not happy with not being able to use my £10 off voucher code for joining buyagift. When I got the voucher code email, the code just appeared as several question mark symbols. I tried to open the email online in case there was an issue with my emails but still the same problem. So didn't get a chance to use my £10 off discount code. Tried to ring buyagift but they close from 5pm.”
