The website was not working so I made my purchase on the phone. Everything seemed to work fine, got my email with voucher n. and a pin code with the instructions to how to proceed booking the experience with the provider. Did it all only to be told right at the end that the voucher was I quote: "fraudulent" which felt really offensive. When I called the support (waiting a couple of days as they don't do weekends), I was given a half baked explanation following which I asked cancellation and a refund. I really hope to get my money back now....

Hi Marco, We are very sorry to hear you had trouble using your voucher. When an orders billing address and bank details do not match it flags up to our finance team. This system is put in place to protect our customers cards from being fraudulently used. Totally disgusted. This was a 50th surprise for my partner! Not anymore!! Brought a One Night Break at a Luxurious London Hotel. Tried using it as per instructions got through to hotel went through voucher verification to be told I couldn’t use my voucher as all rooms allocated to the voucher system were already taken. BUT if I wanted to pay full price I could book a room as they had plenty available!! REALLY!!!! And all it would cost me was another £100 pounds for the night plus the cost of breakfast that was already included in my voucher.

Hi there, All the hotels that we work with do aim to accommodate as many Buyagift customer bookings as possible, but some hotels may be fully booked at certain times. The hotels do have a set number of room allocations for Buyagift vouchers and once this quota has been filled they may have to advise certain dates are fully booked. To minimise any disappointment this may cause, the hotels will always try to make extra rooms available where possible. In addition to this, Buyagift always aim to add information regarding limited availability to the product webpage and also to the My Voucher site. If you are unable to make a booking with any of the hotels of your choice on your preferred dates, you are always welcome to extend or exchange your voucher. Simply log into www.buyagift.com/myvoucher to either: · Extend the validity period of your voucher for a further time period (validity periods will be clearly shown for all hotels) OR · Exchange your voucher for a brand new experience - another hotel stay or something completely different.

RUBBISH . EVERONE I HAVE GIVEN THEM TO HAS HAD TO ADD MONEY TO GET WHAT THEY WANTED.USUALLY HAVE TO GO TO THE OTHER END OF THE COUNTRY OR HAVE TO GO MIDWEEK.NOT VERSITILE.SOUNDS GREAT WHEN ADVERTISED .

i am not sure what to do. i have received the gift number but no pin. i was not able to give the voucher to my friend as it was not clear how to redeem it. i am now trying to redeem it for her but without a pin i cannot do this.

A very difficult website for tourists to deal with. We had to put in a UK postcode and we were visiting..... very difficult. Then the instructions to go into something a put a pin number were very vague. The company we purchased a voucher from - The Hilton at Park Lane were not interested in us, and we received very rude service. We think this was because we were using a voucher. If they don't want people there who may not be in the position to stay there, they should not be offering the voucher.

I selected a hotel, go the details from you, rang them 4 times over a week within the hours they specified, got an answer machine each time, left a message with a phone number as requested and have had no reply Bridge of Cally hotel

I excitedly purchased a Buyagift voucher as a Christmas gift for my daughter . Overnight glamping in Shaftesbury with a bottle of fizz for £79 When my daughter attempted to book with the camp site an addional £90 was required . In the terms and conditions it said extra would be charged for taking a dog the extra charges were for a Saturday night + bedding & the dog. !!! Very disappointed a refund was requested and taken. Please remove my address from your mailing list asap.

Very unprofessional. Got my voucher and after that I discovered by mistake an email sent to my spam folder saying that the voucher is inactive, this was a Christmas gift, I literally sent them an invalid gift, I had to call the person that recived the gift to apologise and tell them the gift is not valid and I will have to let them know when it will be available . First and last time I will use this service.

Payed extra for delivery before Christmas, unfortunately it didn’t arrive until the 28th and when I’ve tried to call it’s an answering machine and emailed but nobody has got back to me. Poor service.

I would love to leave a positive review, however I still have not received the product (now evening of 28th December), a Christmas gift, for which I paid extra for delivery to ensure Christmas delivery.

Ordered two driving experiences for xmas, both arrived ed next day which was good however on xmas day when they went to book them they were both declined as the codes had been used before! Two children left disappointed, raised complaint and refunded but not refunded for the postage of the vouchers!!! They will not refund as the vouchers were received despite them not working. Advise you to stay away from this awful company

I was asked to "randomly" requested verification of my address. The need for this was not communicated, or stated on your website, or at any point during the transaction. The email went into my junk mail, and there is a very good chance I would not have seen it, and would be totally unaware of the issue. As a new customer to your website, it does not make me feel welcome to use your website. If this information was required, it should have been stated and made clear throughout the whole process.

I would offer a review but haveny received the voucher yet, paid for next day delivery before christmas and still waiting for it. Been waiting 8 days now for the product, absolute poor service

How did you do????? You didn't???!!! You guaranteed delivery before Christmas and I'm still waiting for my parents Christmas gift!!!! £100 spent no present delivered!!!! DO NOT promise something if you can not do it!! Really disappointed.
