I phoned and it used to be much easier to speak to customer services after recorded messages without an option for my enquiry. It was dealt with swiftly and well. I was sent an email mail with 23% off but when went to put in the code it said what I had chosen did not have tge discount. That had never been a problem when discount codes where given it was off all gifts. I have been shopping with buyagift over three years and I think my experience this time has changed”
“I went online to redeem a voucher and selected to add lunch. Unfortunately the lunch was not at the spa where I was going but for a choice of Italian chain restaurants! I then tried to upgrade my voucher and found the whole system clunky and not user friendly at all!”
“I was extremely frustrated when having chosen the gift and filled in my details, your website refused my credit card. I was told my card had an invalid number. Having checked very carefully that I had typed it in correctly and called my bank to make sure my card was ok, I called buyagift and was told it was a glitch and to try later. I tried again later and the next day with the same result. As this was a birthday present and time was running out, I eventually paid by PayPal successfully. I am very disappointed in the buyagift website!! Other than that all seems ok, although the recipient has yet to use the voucher.....”
“I put the Young Driver experience in my basket and went looking for voucher codes. I then decided to leave it.
I then got an email from buyagift saying that I had not checked out and received a voucher code to encourage me to.
When I went back to complete the purchase it said that I couldn't use the code as the experience was at a good enough price.
Please do not send these emails out if you have no intention of honouring them.”
“Couldn’t order on line dispite trying over a few days card payments not being accepted although I tried using several different cards, I ended up having to phone order through which was an ordeal and voucher now has a name spelt wrong, I would only use this site again if I could do online first time seem to spend hours trying to book and missed the deadline for a discount code.”
