“I have had a very unpleasant experience with Buywholefoodsonline and the Quality control team still have not replied to me.
I purchased 3 packets of 500gm each of Pistachio nuts from website sold at reduced price of £9.05 each on 18th Dec 2024. My guests and I spat out nuts as there was a foul, rancid, bitter taste. We had to rinse our mouths to get rid of the gross taste.
Upon closer examination I noticed several nuts had pinholes indicating larve infestation and 30% of the nuts were dry, shrivelled up, disfigured shades and had brown lessions in the outside indicating infestation of citrus flat mite had grazed on the outside of nut. After only a lame excuse from a staff member that nuts were of compromised quality because it was end of harvest.. WHICH IS A LIE AND VERY LAME EXCUSE!
The Pistachio harvest season is only of 4 to 6 weeks and nuts would not get shrivelled up as raw nuts would take months to dry up.
And only bluffing the consumer by mixing 30% of poor infested nuts with whole nuts in hope it would be overlooked by innocent consumer.
So I guess their unethical way of practice was to MIX and sell poor quality nuts at reduced price and to get rid of the poor Quality and make profit from sale!! Instead of disposing them.
VERY SHOCKING AND UPSETTING !!!”

a) BUYWHOLEFOODSONLINE care more about the packaging to sell and make profits THAN
b) lie to public that BUYWHOLEFOODSONLINE packaging is truly recyclable because BUYWHOLEFOODSONLINE plastic bags are made of the layered plastics - it is called type 7 = NON RECYCLABLE.
c) Worse - you pollute the truly recyclable plastic waste with your rubbish landfill bags, and the supermarket plastic bags then get mixed with your type 7 landfill plastic.
Buyer wake UP, please do not use theirs type 7 packaging, and check for your self to see that their plastic SPLITS ONTO LAYERS, SAY WHITE OUTER IS GLUED ONTO CLEAR INNER LAYER = NOT RECYCLABLE PLASTIC BAGS BECAUSE OF THE TWO LAYERS STUCK TOGETHER WITH THE GLUE. I have the packaging industry experience and I care about the planet.
BUYWHOLEFOODSONLINE LIE AND KEEP SHUT, packaging industry knows. Please buyers verify and yourself and spread the word so those kind of sellers do not cheat for profit us out of our planet.

“First time customer, and I am shocked at the customer service. I placed a large order in May for multiple items as I was starting a keto diet. Prior to the items being delivered, I had to undergo emergency surgery, and was on bed rest for eight weeks. Naturally, after the eight weeks passed and I became mobile, I began to open the stacks of mail and parcels which had accumulated in my flat. Upon opening my parcel from this company, I realised one of my items were missing. I searched through every box and I could not locate the item. I immediately email the company about the missing item. However, I received a response back basically advising too bad; its out of the 14 day window so there is nothing they can do. The item costs less than £5, and this company is willing to ruin their reputation and lose a customer over something less than £5? I am shocked!”
