Regulator was for nothern irish gas bottles not mentioned on the describtion and bought from calor.ie

The piezo ignition button on my recently purchased Kingavon gas heater (31/1/2023)has just failed having operated unreliably since I purchased it. I will now need a new ignition button and it is unclear where I might acquire one. My gas cooker and my Sip Little Devil propane gas space heater both have a similar ignition arrangement and have served me well for years. I certainly cannot recommend your products or services.

It’s very difficult to use i find it very difficult to on a heater. I used for only one month isn’t working anymore

You provided a £10-00 gift voucher which was out of date even before I placed the order. This was very disappointing and poor customer service for a company the size and standing of Calor gass. I hope you replace it with a current one. There were also screws missing to attach the cylinder holder on the back of the heater

16 days and still no gas. Despite being told every day for the last 4 days the gas has yet to be delivered. Have been waiting in the house until 7 every night. Do not trust this company.

Unfortunately it's the small requests that cause decisions. I asked for extra vouchers knowing that it wasn't part of the T&Cs, Adams refusal was, I'm sure, by the book. However, that has now procluded Calor from my choices of supplier for LPG to provide home heating. Sometimes the short term right answer is the long term wrong answer for company growth. When I ordered the portable heater from Calor Gas I expected to be dealing with Calor Gas. When the portable heater arrived, the heater would not work. I called Calor to let them know and they said that the heater came from a third party and I would have to deal with them. I have been dealing with Hamilton Gas products since the 8th of December and they have told me on 4 different occasions that the heater would be picked up, checked over and that I would have a replacement back by Christmas. The heater that I originally ordered is still sitting in my hallway, where it has been since the 8th of December. Calor were less that useless when I called them on two different occasions to let them know that I was buying the heater for my mother to get through the cold snap just repeatedly saying that It was not their fault and to call Hamilton. I tried to call Hamiltion on numerous occasions only to be placed in a telephone waiting service for over 50 minutes each time, at such time I just hung up on each occasion. As much as Hamiltion have dropped the ball with this whole experience I place the same amount of blame on Calor as they seem to sell third-party faulty goods from a business that does not respond to its customers. My consumer rights say that the company that I make the purchase with has to sort it out. Calor has not done this and to say that I am extremely angry with the service Calor provided would be a huge understatement. A terrible experience from start to finish, whenever the finish might come around

Unfortunately I had a bad experience. My heater was delivered damaged. After getting on to Support, I was told I would get a call back, it didn't happen. When I called back again, the Support person got everything in motion, did a really good job but it still took days to get a replacement sent to me.

We can see from our records that you sent an email a couple of days before we closed for Christmas informing us that there was an issue with your product. Unfortunately, we were extremely busy in the run-up to Christmas and did not get around to answering all of our help desk emails. We are currently closed until 3rd January however, we have some staff in trying to get through the emails were did not manage to answer before Christmas. We can see that our Advisor responded to you yesterday and is waiting for you to reply back with more information. I can see you were dealing with one of our Customer Service Team and they advised that the address had been incomplete and so had went to another location. Once we spoke to DPD and resolved this the parcel was delivered the next day.

I am still waiting for the regulator that didn't arrive with the original order despite a followup phone call and promise it would arrive in the next few days. Quite disappointed.
