“I had one of my best shopping experience at Calumet Birmingham! The ladies were very friendly and chatty, I felt really welcomed there and walked out with a new lens which I really like. I can say the same about your Hamburg store as well, the guys helped me making the right decision after trying about 5-6 lenses, even my German is a bit rusty we managed to find a mutual ground.”

“I ordered film to be collected in Wardour Street but they had not received notification of my order, yet gave it to me after looking up my account details. I also bought a new picture stand. I then received the film order delivered to me and returned it to Wardour Street. Mike McGrath.”

“The product is well made and feels the the part. You can get plenty of kit (one camera) in there for a day out. I am pleased with the purchase but like everything it's always a trade off Having used it , here are a things that would make the bag better for me. A cup/strap at the bottom of the back to hold the tripod legs and not the bag pocket, the top of the monopod swings all over the place, hitting things Quick release clips on the front straps Option to purchase another inlay for the top half of the bag allowing two cameras and equipment A pouch to place a business card , if lost please return. Water Bottle holder”

“Calumet has the option to choose a different shipping address from the billing stated on PayPal for international orders. The store refused to ship my order to my shipping address and made unreasonable security demands in unsecure enviroments (upload id via email) eventhough i'm a verified member with a confirmed address on PayPal since 2007 .Why choose paypal anyway ?This option supposed to make the customer's life easier and save my time as i've completed all these steps through it's verification process,why should i waste my time so many days and upload my personal id on a unknown department with unknown security enviroment ?It took about a dozen of emails to respond after i risked sending them my personal id information attached through email .So after that, they firstly refused to send my order and after several emails ,they decided either to cancel the order or to send the parcel to my billing address which was quite inconvenient.It's 2016 and Calumet Stores ,as a big official retailer, they should have known that it's safe to ship items to a different address than the one stated on paypal, unless you fill in the address on the order details .Otherwise calumet should change their policies and website options and save the clients' time and money. I got a confirmation from a PayPal assistant about that issue ,that it was safe for Calumet to send the order to my shipping address as it was stated on the order details. Before that mess ,that took around 7 days,i asked for a very small discount which was refused .I paid 42GBP for shipping via DPD ,a very poor service .My parcel made a road trip around Europe before finally got after 7 bussiness days to the final destination.For such high amount of money spent for a camera ,with no discount and high shipping rates, they should have used UPS or DHL ,not a DPD road trip .There are small details that make the difference from being an average or an exceptional store .”

“Did what they did when they said they would, ordered a new camera (Canon 5 D mark iv). It arrived when said but was faulty so returned (courier arranged by Calumet) and replacement arrived last Friday. Great service and will definitely use them again :)”

“I ordered 3 pro-packs of film. Whilst I can't fault the next-delivery service, the misuse of packaging is abhorrent. The film arrived in two separate boxes, each stuffed with plastic packing. I think I'll try to buy film in-store, until you review your packaging practices.”

“anytime i go into the store i always and the staff very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable about the products and general photography therefore give excellent advice and recommendations on equipment. Good range of products to meet both the professional, keen amateur and beginner covering all aspects of photographic elements from cameras, lens, lighting etc.”
