“I ordered three boxes of A3 paper on line and it promised next day delivery. Sure enough, they were delivered the next day. Interestingly, they were delivered by two different couriers - one delivering two boxes and the the other one box. I assume the boxes had come from different sources so some good co-ordinating by the Calumet sales team. Extremely satisfied.”

“I find a lot of own brand products to be poor quality, so i was reluctant to buy a tent cube by Calumet, I was impressed with the tent cube as soon as i got it out of the packaging and started to use it and it continues to impress.”

“Wouldn't accept my verified PayPal.Wanted a copy of photo ID and utilities bill. Bought my camera from Jessops with PayPal no problem and delivered next day! Simple.”

“Own brand items are of a good quality. However, poor customer service and delivery management let the side down. Three out of my past four orders have had problems - it would appear that this is normal business for Calumet.”

“I ordered a lens from the Manchester store, it arrived the next day. The staff in the shop rang to let me know it arrived at the shop immediately. It was my first visit to the Manchester store and I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They dealt with my order very efficiently. I was very impressed and will definitely return for future photographic requirements. As I left the shop the girl who handled my order asked me to make sure to let her know how I liked the lens. The personal touch is very unusual these days. I would definitely recommend to others.”

“I ordered the Student 12 month membership and I was very impressed with the speed of delivery and level of customer service. When my membership arrived I was pleased to receive the parcel which contained a large number of free gifts to say thank you for my order. I am also very impressed with the newsletters I receive via email about special offers and sales.”

“Pre ordered a Fuji XPRO2 the day it was launched. We took advantage of the excellent 2 year interest free scheme which as professional wedding photographers helps with cash flow. Last week it became apparent that other photographers we know that shoot with Fuji were getting their cameras. We had heard nothing from our Calumet store (Birmingham). We rang several times for a update. Finally we were told it would be posted to us (Wednesday). We had no tracking information. We didn't know when the camera was to be delivered, no did we get any updates. Eventually it arrived on Friday, we were luckily in at the time. Camera and interest free is great, but communication should have been better.”

“Camera I purchased was broken”

“I went to pick up something that I'd ordered on our account. 11.00 p.m. on a Wednesday, heavy rain, very few customers in the store - maybe five or six. I went to the counter, where there were four assistants. One was on the phone, one was looking for something under the counter, one was dealing with another customer, one was wandering around looking lost. I waited for four or five minutes whilst this pantomime continued - during that time not one of the assistants made eye contact with me, acknowledged my presence, or apologised for me having to wait. I was invisible. In the end, I had to introduce myself. " Hello" I said " I'm a paying customer and my company has an account here. How much longer do I have to wait for my presence to be acknowledged ? I may want to spend some money in your store ". I was greeted first with silence, then a begrudged apology from someone who seemed to be the head assistant, then made to feel bad for intruding upon their important business. After I'd finally got my order, I said I'd like to look at a particular lens. I was asked if I could wait as there were other customers being attended to. I was the only person at the counter at this point, so I don't know where the other important customers where. I walked out of the store, and you lost a potential sale on a £ 1200 lens. Guys, it's very simple. If you continue with customer service like this you're going to be belly up in the water within a year. And in case you think this is a grudge or fake review, I'm not going anonymous here.
