“Staff were very helpful. I had purchased a messenger bag at the Photography Show and promptly lost it. I contacted Calumet after the event and it had not been handed in to them. Calumet supplied another bag at show price and sent it to me postage Paid.”

“Click and collect option plus rapid delivery to store saved the day - coupled with a great deal AND a discount I was was very pleased. Helpful store sales person also helped me over the phone pre sale”

“Great Products and great prices! Staff helpful and also recommending products / give advise to what would be best for certain photographic jobs. Purchased my order over the phone which was quick and easy and then collected 30mins later from a local store. When I arrived at the store and collect my order the staff member pointed out that the Roller Suitcase I purchased would be to big to take on planes if that was what I was planning to do, and it was! Luckily he said this and recommended another case which was suitable - I was very happy and pleased with Steve's (staff) service and advise.”

“I bought a Canon 7D MkII at the Photography Show from the Calumet stand. Unfortunately, when I unboxed it the following day and started to set it up, I discovered a piece of dust/grit in the viewfinder which could not be removed by cleaning or by using a blower on the inside. I contacted Calumet straight away and thankfully, after originally being told to follow the returns procedure, they subsequently arranged for a courier to collect it from me that day, which I was very thankful for. A few days later I contacted Calumet again to try to find out what was happening and was told that the warehouse had received the camera but that it had not yet been looked at. With Easter in the way of things, I left it a full week before contacting Calumet again. After some time on the phone it was established that the camera had been sent back to Canon. I stated that that I had requested a replacement, not a repair for something that had been sold to me with the problem in situ. Thankfully, the customer services person arranged for a next day (morning) delivery of a replacement from their warehouse. I was able to finally relax and breathe a sigh of relief. So, in essence, I found that the lack of any communication between the time the first camera was collected from me and the time I phoned over a week later to be frustrating. I'm glad I did phone again in the end because it was the only way I found out that the camera had been sent back to Canon. Had I not phoned, I might never have got a replacement delivered. This lack of communication in my case is why I give only four stars. On the other hand, I found the Customer Services to be excellent on the phone and able to make decisions that (in my case) definitely put the customer first.”

“The Epson centre caught my eye, and to print my folio I used it. frankly unless you use a printer every couple of days they are more trouble than not. the inks on mine cost £200. Gave up on that and with the redoubtable Hana on hand off they came, lovely.”

“Not satisfied with the online purchase and the customer service as there was a problem on the website when I tried to place an order. I wanted the item to be delivered for collecting at store, but because of the problem I couldn't do so although I kept doing several times. The customer service told me to place it for next day delivery instead and they would refund the shipping cost to me. I did so but the item was still delivered to my address and I didn't get the benefit of the next day delivery because I wasn't home. I got the card from the courier to make a redelivery and had to stayed at home on a weekday just to wait for this to arrive. This caused a very inconvenient circumstance for my working day and I still didn't get the refund as the customer service said to do so. In my opinion, this showed the company's level of responsibility for the customers.”
