“Recently bought 2 Calumet batteries for my Canon 5d mkii. Very happy with these and they work great. Excellent price & quality. Delivery was very quick and packaged well. I've been stung in the past with other third party batteries, in future, I'll only be buying from Calumet.”

“Great staff in the Glasgow store that always feel like they are there to help you and never put pressure on you to buy products like other camera stores sometimes do and they are all clearly very knowledgeable about the kit they sell which makes me confidant in buying from them and taking their advice.”

“Disgraceful postage charges. I bought 2x£20 gift vouchers for my dad and got charged £7.99 postage. A first class stamp costs 64 pence! Totally unjustifiable. When I emailed to query this I got no help whatsoever. Their customer care is a joke and Andrew Shirley does not know that Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom. Edit: After seeing my original review, Calumet have refunded my postage charge in full. Satisfactory outcome.”

“I visited the shop in Edinburgh for the first time and was helped massively by the staff. They simply couldn't have done more to advise me around purchases and what would best suit me at this stage of my career. I have recommended the shop to all of my college groups as well as family photographers. An outstanding service and i'll be back at the shop by the end of the month.”

“I ordered a camera carrying strap and checked with the store how to get to them. Was given directions, drove a 40 mile return journey only to discover their road was closed and there was no other vacant parking nearby so had to return home. Rang and let them know this and they sent it by post which worked well, but was little compensation for the time and cost of making the journey. Then discovered that I could have bought it for less elsewhere so provided evidence about this and was told the shop would re-imburse me for the difference, but this has not yet happened. Then last week had a phone call from the store to say I had ordered a strap and it was now in stock and that I should collect it!! But they had already sent it to me several weeks earlier. So in summary, a wasted journey, no return of the difference in price and for some reason a repeat order I had not arranged. Not a very good shop window for your firm. Gordon Wilcock”

“I recently purchased the new Canon 5DMkIV from Calumet in Glasgow. The member of staff who helped me was very friendly, extremely helpful and had excellent product and technical knowledge. He willingly answered all my questions and spent time discussing the product with me. Calumet will now be my first port of call for all my photography needs in future.”
