“I raised a complaint following the manner in which my order was both shipped and the handling initially of my not receiving the order. Poor communication and no shipping details meant I missed my order being delivered twice. The customer service handler also essentially called me a liar and was abusive toward me. Not very good and I will be going back to WEX”

“Excellent service both via customer services and in store. One suggestion, please have more transparency regarding the delivery of orders paid for with finance. Despite my finance being approved on the 30th pre 3pm, meaning it should've been delivered the next day, it didn't get delivered until the 6th Jan. Whilst this was partly due to the holiday period, it was also going to delivered to my billing address instead of my delivery one even though this term wasn't mentioned at any point throughout the ordering process. Other than that great service, would buy from you again.”

“Athough I've known about this company a long time, I only made my 1st purchase a few months ago. My initial purchase was an excellent item, though there was some confusion over the date of delivery. I have since bought from one of their London shops, and most recently ordered online. This was speedily delivered and is an excellent product.”

“I saw a lens that I was interested at a cheaper price elsewhere and they matched the price over the phone. I collected the lens in person that afternoon. Happy customer. The only thing that would make it sweeter would be a process for doing this all online. I.E. I go onto the website, put in the page that has the lens at a cheaper rate, and get a code that can be applied at checkout for the difference. No phone required.”

“Difficult one this ! I always buy my kit from Calumet. I've been building up my FujiFilm X system & love it. Never had a problem with service from Calumet. This occasion, I bought a demo XPro1. It was a nice price and it came boxed, but. The camera condition is poor, grubby, dusty, and lacked any description to condition. The biggest problem was the state of the sensor. A large finger print and huge blobs of something all across the sensor. It's taken a professional clean to get the camera usable, especially the Sensor. So extra expense and down time when it should be making money. You take your chances when you buy a demo camera ! Probably buy new from now on. Great service guys Well packed Prompt postage Thanks for the chance to comment !”

“My son and I visited Calumet in Manchester to look at a DSLR camera kit for video work. We have never shopped with Calumet before but found the details online and decided to give our nearest store a visit. Parking was free with plenty of available spaces. The store was clean tidy and all stock was nicely laid out with excellent hands on opportunity for all kit. We were given a warm welcome but didn't feel pressured. We had a good look round and then got chatting with one of the Calumet team. The service we received was nothing short of excellent. We were given many different options for both cameras and accessories. At no point in time were we pressurised into making a purchase, the focus (excuse the pun) was just on us being able to make an informed choice in a relaxed environment. After some time we were fully kitted out with camera and all the accessories we needed. Calumet were competitive on price but, more importantly than this, they offered us a level of service I have not experienced in a retail environment in quite some time, first class! In summary - modern retail with old-fashioned service. I will definitely be shopping with Calumet again.”

“I have always found the staff helpful and able to give good advice. I also attended a course at the Calumet Academy recently and found this very useful. I think it's great to have a place to learn, hire studio space (although I haven't done this) and buy or hire equipment all under one roof.”

“i was very pleased with the Lowepro Transit 350 AW backpack I ordered with Calumet. It appears ideal for traveling purposes , and it is made of strong material , which will, I sure .withstand the rigours of traveling. The compartments are well presented creating suitable areas for camera and equipment. I also liken the colour and neutral appearance of the backpack, which might help avoid the attention of thieves whilst traveling. The free next day delivery is an excellent service: something which was particularly beneficial to me and something i appreciated. Thank you.”
