“I recently made a purchase and was waiting for ages for the product to be delivered, I had to contact customer services to find out to what was wrong....I was informed that I had produce Two forms of I.D. in order to the order to continue even though I had the money taken from my account. "However, we would have to ask that you send us a form of Photo ID and a Utility bill confirming yourself at the delivery address you have given us. Once we receive this we will be able to ship this out for delivery for you." I made the payment through Paypal and my address is sent with payment. I later rang Customer service who couldn't give me a proper explanation to why I had to give them photo ID in order to the delivery to be carried out. I found the whole ordeal to be an invasion of privacy and demanded my money back. I was then told it would take up to 3/4 working days. I further asked why it would take so long to get my money back....No reasonable answer was given....I informed Customer service that the initial transaction was through paypal and it should be done with immediate effect....it was sorted there and then. would I shop there again.......not a hope in hell”

“I attended the Mixed Light course on Friday 10th February at your Manchester store. I feel the way in which Jason taught was disappointing. Key points are as follows - 1) There were no reference slides or notes which means delegates had to simply keep up or lose the thread of his point.I mentioned emailing notes out after the course but as with any training / education process its better to have something to look at as you learn. Consider the different ways different people retain information - audio / written / visual etc.. 2) Whilst asking what we wanted to get from the course Jason wrote a note about me that said 'what is photography?' and passed it to another delegate. I'm sure he meant this as a 'joke' but its knocked my confidence and very unprofessional on his part. 3) I arranged a train around the published end time(3pm) only to find the course was running late I therefore missed the end of the session and questions time. Finally, for you Calumet, you need to find photographers who can teach. They may not have the most glamorous experience but they need to be able to come prepared, get their point across to mixed abilities, leaving people feeling they've learnt from the experience.”

“Every time I visit calumet, I intend to buy something. From being created at the door, to go into a shop full of top brands including canon, nikon, manfrotto and calumet. All staff, senior star and lesley are outstanding. They always help me find what I need at great prices. And if not, they recommend better products for a little more money yet tell you and show you the advantages.”

“Hi, My experience at the Calumet Photo Drummond St.: I have purchased the LED Panel: Quality - 7/10. Price - 5/10 Service - always fast and not complicated, helpful staff, honest opinions! 10/10. A while ago I have purchased the Calumet Magic arm with a bracket to the camera. From the first time I used the bracket - i screw my camera to the bracket and from then on the bracket stayed with my camera for ages. Not that I wanted - it just broke in the connection part. This I would rate 2/10, but as I haven't made my way with a camera back to Calumet. Can't say they wouldn't help me with that. Always enjoy Calumet! Thank You for making my life better.
