“Was very surprised (in a good way) to be able to discuss with a real professional who took time to give me advice without rushing me to finish the sale. Good prices as well, roughly equivalent to others (like Curry's), but with a excellent service and some good discounts sometimes. Would definitely recommend. [London Drummond Street store]”

“I always look to purchase my equipment from Calumet first at Drummond Street as I am always treated well by the team there who are knowledgeable and helpful. I recently purchased some Profoto flash gear and received good advice on a range of equipment. The gear I ordered arrived much quicker than I expected which was a bonus. Great service”

“Disappointed. I had the sensor on my Canon EOS 1DX cleaned at the Manchester store and paid £57.00 for a while you wait service, as I struggle to get out of work. The clean took about 5 minutes. I can only assume that no testing is carried after the process is complete, because the sensor was still covered in dust spots plus the viewfinder / mirror was full of debris that was not there when I took the camera in!”

“Product sent is great for what it does, but it came with a missing part and a faulty part. I rang up straight away when I noticed missing part 5 minutes after receiving it and customer service was great - sending out missing part in first class post. The part that was faulty I didn't notice until I went to use product the next day. Customer service suggested I go into Calumet store to try and replace, which defeats object of buying online for ease in the first place. Also it makes me wary of buying other products where it appears products have been used or demonstrated with, that as a customer I am buying on the understanding of it being a new product.”

“I've bought from Calumet online, by phone and via their website. They have been consistently good (I've used them for over 5 years). Deliveries are usually fast and convenient. When I've had queries they have been helpful and even helped me source something via another of their stores rather than online, which enabled me to get it quicker (and at the same price). They also know the products well enough to make meaningful recommendations, which some others, that really just 'ship boxes' cannot.”

“I was very happy with the service and support from the staff, really helpful and took time to walk through several questions I had as I was looking for a new bag and ND Filter (which I successfully bought). Dont agree that this shop is only for professionals, albeit the kit was amazing and perhaps looked upon with envy, but I did not feel out of place as a relative beginner.”

“Calumet stands out from the crowd. You have friendly, helpful staff. Who know their stuff! Even the back of house team, will help, if they see you are looking a little lost. Although I occasionally use other outlets. There is nowhere in the UK, that looks after you better. I could mention individuals at Drummond Street like, Jamie, Kamie, Seymour, Rene etc, but everyone has strengths and compliment each other. A great team! Even the current accounts team are nice to deal with and thats not something you can say to often. Best wishes John Deehan John Deehan Photography Ltd”
