Janessa at Preston Crossing Canadian Tire in Saskatoon was amazing. She helped me place an order for a treadmill. She made sure everything was correct with the order and went above and beyond in my opinion. I would go to this Canadian Tire over the other one in Saskatoon every time due to the better service there.

Today I went to the auto centre and the young lady I an asked her where to wait and she looked like her energy is gone and she responded me without opening her mouth! I didn’t know what she said without looking at me and speaking from her throat not from her mouth. I wondered and asked a guy and that lady heard me when I asked him then suddenly shouting at me that I told you already! I was shocked! But the other two ladies who were serving me was normal. They do their job . I respected both of them! The first person was full of short tempered and scary person that the way her actions how she responded me and tune. She has to change her behaviour or she needs behaviour management, a counsellor. She seems treated me like I am in the wrong place!

No wonder Amazon is kicking Canadian commerce on the bum! Ordered something on line. Waited two days to get message to pick it up. Got a message that my order had been cancelled, because they did not have the product. ?? I had checked and they had two in stock before placing my order. So now I have to go to a farther store to get my vacuum cleaned! With this kind of service, Amazon is getting the clientele. Wisen up Canadian Tire!

Canadian tire in Kincardine is always under staffed. Also ,when trying to return something they can not always find it in the computer, keep your receipts. Never buy Noma lights, they stop working immediately.

Bough new tires a month ago and they were so overtoutqued that my mechanic couldn't move 1 bolt to take them off to put snow tires on. I had to take the car back to CT and they said that they were maybe a little tight, but came off no problem. I literally watch my mechanic use a super long extention bar and air gun and couldn't get them to move so this manager was lying to my face. I have never had an issue with using Canadian Tire tire services before, but the practices they are now using to save time makes the service extremely sub par now so I won't be using them again. Do better Canadian Tire!

I brought my car in for a diagnosis. They called me an hour later to say that the brand new throttle body was the problem. I told them that it wasn't but I would have had better luck convincing a concrete wall. There machine said that there were 2 throttle body codes, therefore it must be that. So I exchanged the brand new throttle body for a brand new throttle body and the car's issues weren't fixed. 180 dollars for them to plug in there machine, print out what there machine says and not investigate any further. If you are reading this, d9nt go to Canadian tire. If you look into there reviews you will notice they are all negative. It's not a coincidence. I found M&L auto to be honorable and trustworthy

RE CHRISTMAS WREATHS ONSALE WARNING. False or misleading advertisement and products not as shown MEASUREMENTS MISLEADING INTENTIONAL? Thankfully I did not purchase online due to I would of had to return as item not as shown or described. But visited nf store only to be combated by a jacked up manager and his associate tag teamed the fact that the measurement is round not width then showing me a mini sized version of on line sale item MISLEADING?Bait and switch? So called30 inch wreath This including trying to convince me that the 30’ which appeared 18”was a size down from another marked 36’ which visually appeared three times bigger? And saying ITS WHAT THE BRAND TAG RELAY in other words argument appose to helpful all while associate seamed to revel in the debate. It was a very unpleasant & uncomfortable experience. All due to misrepresentation of descriptive features on line misleading . Where it COULD OF RELAYED THE WORDS “width “or “round “ in noting the measurements but not at all in product features I asked too why lite wreath product were not displayed for customer viewing he while standing in the middle of every other Christmas light up display relayed they would not be able to afford the lighting bill !? if he did so 😳 VERY COMBATIVE AND CONDESCENDING I DID NOT PURCHASE! I will not be attending this store again due to treatment of these two men Again misleading info on line or trained too miserable to sell , especially Christmas items! Signed customer lost ! I can’t believe what happened to me. Between myself and my business I’ve spend over $120,000 in tools and ladders/bakers scaffolding… I recently bought a mastercraft sir compressor and after 3 uses (2 work weeks) it completely stopped working. I went in with the receipt and they turned me away with a contact number to a repair shop in Lefray, Ontario which is almost 2 hours away from my home and 3 hours away from my job site. The box is plastered with the once trusted “Life time warranty guarantee” Definitely didn’t expect this from one of Canadas most trusted companies at one point. Unfortunately I’m out of luck with employees depending on me tomorrow to get things done right and done on time. Do not waste your time with their fine line promises. Home D**** has plenty of options that can be trusted and reliable.

After buying 30 sets of Xmas lights for $19.99, I went back to buy 9 more at $14.99. I came back to get a credit for the difference as stated a 90 days return policy. They refused my request as the sale price ended even though I came back a week later. I have purchased $1000’s of dollars on the Canadian tire credit card. This tells me how they don’t care about a long term customer. After 45 yrs of going there, they will lose a customer for good. One request in 45 yrs on a pricing issue. So for $45!they lose me. Plus they over price items and always offer sales to where the actual price should be. Go elsewhere!!!!

Yesterday, I visited the Canadian Tire store located at Eaton Centre. Canadian Tire Employee - Roger (Employee #0600) - was outstanding in helping me and assisting me find the items I needed. Roger was polite, attentive, hardworking and even helped me find a product that was at an improved price that worked within my budget. Thank you Roger for your great customer service! I truly appreciate it.

I took my SUV to Canadian Tire at McCowan and Sheppard. They had installed 4 new Michelin tires 4 months previous. My tire pressure monitoring system said that my left front whelk had 0 pressure. I thought that the TPMS might have been broken with the tire change so asked a young lady at the service desk to have the right front tire knocked down to see if there was anything bouncing around inside my tire. Instead they ran a scope around my car ($152.00) and said that 2 tire monitors were inoperative. They proceeded to mention that it would be $400.00 to change one and $650.00 to change 2. I asked to have my car back and I would reluctantly pay the not requested $150 plus bill. The shop manager interjected that that was the price like it or leave it. A shouting match ensued and I was then told that my SUV would not be available for 3 or so hours because of paper work. After speaking to the so called store manager, I called the police. The attending officer also told the store manager and ignorant shop manager to return my automobile immediately. They refused so the police officer mentioned that they would be charged with theft if the did not return my vehicle. They pulled my vehicle out, never did anything to fix my problem and I payed the $150.00 hostage fee. The attending officer advised me to contact a Lawyer about this issue. I went to Midas Muffler on Ellesmere and Birchmount 2 days later and they changed 2 tire pressure monitors for $145.00. Never use that location ever. I need 8 tires now and will not consider any Canadian Tire location after that I am 79 and thought that they wanted to reach me a lesson.

I had an appointment at 10am today October 29, 2024. I arrived 15 minutes prior as asked when I booked my appointment online. My car did not go in until 10:30am. I was there to have my oil changed & have my snow tires put on which were on rims already. I told them that I would wait as well. I never got my car back until 12:30pm. I am not a mechanic but I think this was a long wait time for what I had done. While waiting there were 3 other customers who were waiting as long as myself or longer. I don’t know if Canadian Tire had overbooked or what but this is not acceptable as far as I can tell.

I have been going to the one in st stephen N.b since I have lived here. i wanted an idea what a set of winter tires would cost for my car. I called and called the service department over and over. I left my phone number on the line saying I wanted a price on tires. Nothing no call return as instructed by phone service. So i decided to go out the following day. There was no one at the counter so I tried looking around for tires. After I was about to ask at service desk if anyone could help this employee came to the desk. I asked him and told him ive been trying to get someone on the line he said someone was there the day before and that was it. No im sorry for that nothing (customer service). So i did get a paper printout with a quote. But i did tell the man in the department I wanted studs put in them he said it was 30$ each. I said i wanted price taxes tire levy fee everything. When i got home i didnt see the fee for studs in there and was wondering if it was in there in the price somehow. so i decided to call to make sure. Guess what same no answer or and over. Finally I got someone (not in that department) who put me on hold and said she would page them. Then she said they are coming now to the department then she hung up. so I had to call again ,guess what over and over no picking up the phone. Ive never had a problem like this, so they have lost my business, It was extremely frustrateing and i would sooner pay more then put up with that.Theres def something wrong. Hopefull the owner manager will correct this problem!

Subject: Serious Concerns Regarding Tire Installation and Safety at Canadian Tire For the past few years, I have been a regular customer of Canadian Tire on the North Shore in Kamloops, where I had my seasonal tire changes performed. Each time, the tires were placed in plastic for me to bring back the following season. However, approximately five days ago, I visited Mr. Lube in North Shore, Kamloops, for an oil change. During this service, the attendant brought to my attention that the winter tires currently on my vehicle were unsafe and should never have been installed. This revelation was deeply concerning, as Canadian Tire had installed these tires just three weeks prior. I had been using the same tires, stored and wrapped in plastic as per their routine, for several seasons, and I relied on Canadian Tire's expertise for both installation and safety checks. The attendant at Mr. Lube identified several critical issues with the tires: one tire was not the correct size for my vehicle, all four tires showed significant cracking, and one tire had multiple missing studs. Given the seriousness of the situation, I immediately contacted my son, who is a car salesman, to validate the information. On his recommendation, I asked the Mr. Lube attendant to take photographs of the tires, which he did using my phone. After reviewing the images, my son confirmed that the tires were indeed unsafe to drive on. The Mr. Lube attendant further explained that had I brought the tires to them for installation, they would have refused to mount them due to their hazardous condition. I was shocked that Canadian Tire had installed these unsafe tires without informing me of the potential risks. I had been driving with them for a month, including two out-of-town trips, unknowingly endangering myself and my family. After my oil change, I returned to the Canadian Tire location to address the issue with the store manager. Unfortunately, the manager’s response was dismissive and he did not acknowledge any fault. After I expressed my concerns, they reluctantly offered to replace two tires at a cost of $1,000. Feeling unsupported, I declined their offer and returned to Mr. Lube, where I was able to purchase four new, high-quality winter tires for $798, including tax. The staff at Mr. Lube treated me with respect and professionalism, ensuring that my safety was their priority. Following this experience, I have decided not to return to Canadian Tire for any future services. I later spoke with a head manager at Canadian Tire, who expressed shock upon hearing what had happened. While I was offered $100 in Canadian Tire money, I feel that this gesture is insufficient considering the serious safety risk I was exposed to. I plan to use this credit at Mark's, but I remain deeply concerned by how the situation was handled. What upsets me most is the lack of concern from the mechanical manager at Canadian Tire. While the head office manager assured me that an email would be sent to the mechanics, instructing them to ensure they are installing safe tires, I am left wondering whether this will truly result in meaningful change. I asked one of the employees if he would want his mother driving on the tires they had installed on my car. As a mother and grandmother, I cannot imagine the grief my family would have endured had I been in an accident due to the unsafe tires. The employee offered no response, simply looking away. I hope that anyone considering having their tires changed at Canadian Tire will read this and think carefully about their safety before doing so. Sincerely, Dana Marcano

Online order was sent back as none in stock. They went from 2 items to zero in 30 min. Went to the store #304 at 2110 101st in Edmonton. Found one item under isle 169 as was noted on website. At that isle were 4 females talking about astrology and not one of them asked if I needed help. No one acknowledged me as a customer. I hate going in there, 10 employees crossed my path and not one of them said hello or stopped to see if I needed help. I drive to Leduc, they care about customer service.
