Capitec Empangeni branch have majority of rude staff who cannot even greet as you enter. My card was stuck in the machine at 7:30am and I was told no one could assist me. When I asked for the manager I was told to wait fir G4S services. My helpdesk number 10 assistant "Sisie" quickly called the next customer without assisting me. 2 August 2023 The host has been the only person at the branch that showed sympathy towards my situation this morning. But I am very disgusted in the service at this branch, they just do not care about their customers. We are treated like sheep or the next customer is a goat on a livestock farm.

This is the worst bank ever sent money to another bank they promise 24 hrs don't trust they lie it beyond 24 and they now claim that money sent on Thursday after 4pm will only be received on Monday..... The worst part is am pay for my Unisa studies with a delay of Friday because their app did not accept my payment into Unisa I had to send it to another bank this has been a nightmare never again I guess it really is not a bank but people making money of us

Capitec can't even reverse a transaction that you made online. Very disappointed by that.

Capitec phonelines as well as WU lines not available. How do I communicate with a bank if there are no lines available.?

I waited in the que then I am waiting for people to ANSWER so 🤷 I can be assisted. The lady waited and waited for them to answer the phone. Very very very bad service from Capitec. How can the people work is Capitec don't answer their phone

All my money for the month was deducted off my account on the 23 June 2023 from a purchase I made at checkers on the 19 June 2023 . Which was also taken from my account. When I called I was told it was a problem with the Nedbank machines and the problem has been escalated. This is theft from Capitec I do not bank with Nedbank I have a Capitec account and I did not authorize Capitec to steal my money from my capitec account. When this problem is resolved I will not be using Capitec again. If this is not resolved quickly I will lay a fraud case.

The most unfriendly people I've ever met they cannot even carry themselves professionally when you come in to the bank they make you feel unwelcome as if they doing you a favour I've had many bank accounts the overport branch is the worst capitec ever though I went to any other branch and they are so welcoming and so helpful overport branch is terrible service

ALBERT BOTES!!!!! If you have never experienced service - make sure to meet up with Albert. Not only does he have a warming personality, but he most certainly knows what he is doing and is very professional! A definite asset to any company / business. We were at clearwater Capitic and was helped by Scott. I went to help me with my app with in min we were done he helped us with the capitec sim card and that was done in min for my myself and my daughter thanks to Scott big ups thank you for the help i love capitec clearwater.

I put in money in an investment company with high hopes of making more Ps for myself but to my disappointment, when it was time to make a withdrawal it became an issue they started asking for tax fee, withdrawal fee and lots more. I was recommended to  E f f i c i e n t N e t H a c k on Gmail. where I filed a complaint and I was able to get my money after meeting certain requirements. Thumbs Up guys..

Capitec Bank is a con man.!!! They put me on a six months plan not to get loans from anywhere without my consent. The consultant said 3 months. I called today another consultant says it's 7 months not 6 months, I get transferred from dep to dep for the whole day.... let's all just move from this bank.. it's benefits from the white system, target the poor and such them dry until dead, after all they just bloody blacks right.. piece of 🗑 carcassonne......

The worst bank ever, the most complained about. Moving my money to another bank I'd rather pay higher interest rates, this is unacceptable. The app is always down. Capitec is 💩👎🏾

Appalling service with no feedback! It has been 2 weeks and still Capitec has not transferred the funds from my late fathers savings account to mine, as I was advised by the branch. I have tried to get the status of this process numerous times and still no assistance. The WhatsApp chat platform is useless, why have this when its not monitored or servicing the clients needs? I did advise the customer consultants the branches I have visited that this was a matter of urgency as we were short with funds to bury my father. All necessary documents were submitted. What needs to happen now? I need answers!!!!

I tried to invest R500000.00 in a fixed deposit account, they gave me incorrect information that I could convert my one saving account to a fixed deposit account. When I tried to deposit the funds into this fixed deposit account via internet banking I could not. I called the bank they could not help, that happened on 22 March 2023. I have sent 4 emails to the bank with no response. I eventually got a reaction after I reported the case to the Bank Ombudsman. However today is the 2 May 2023 and the problem is still not resolved.

Worst service ever since Capitec Bank has taken over Mercantile Bank. Relationship bankers dont get back to you, you struggle to get through to them telephoniclly and they are generally clueless on all their products.
