“I had trouble ordering my winch online ( my fault ) So I rang the next day the guy was very friendly and helpful the winch arrived within the week I installed it myself no dramas I was impressed with the quality and ease of installation Can’t wait to test it out Cheers Mick”

“Purchased Carbon 12K winch. Waited until next shipment arrived, and received winch in great condition. All was good in the box. Install was very straightforward, but being a Defender with battery under the passenger seat I needed to get some custom length battery leads. Isolator switch and winch breather house mounted easily under bonnet. I did change the winch hook to a Factor 55, only because I like the closed-hook winch system. Original hook looks very solid though. All in all, I am very happy with the winch and it sits extremely well on the Defenders tube bull-bar. If you have a Carbon winch, let it be seen. Thanks guys.”

“I was exceptionally fortunate to win a Carbon winch through a competition and both dynamic and utility ropes as well. The 1200lb winch went onto my Defender and has recovered five or six other vehicles recently, the planetary gearing makes it an exceptionally capable bit of kit. I purchased additional utility ropes as they are perfect for bridle rigging during recoveries and provide industry leading weight capacity without the bulk of straps. Maintaining matching Defenders is expensive but saving hard for a second Carbon winch prior to Sawback Track SW Tasmania in early 2021.”
