“Iam very happy with Car fax because I checked lots of vehicles before my purchase . I actually had to purchase the 5 vin number checker 2 times until I finally found my 2000 BMW x5 truck in the perfect condition according to car fax so I thank car fax very much . I almost made a mistake with a Saturn 2008 car that I loved so much but when I checked with car fax it said at the very bottom last thing that the car history was unknown since 2007 and we are in 2014 so I said no way Iam not buying this car who knows what happend with this car during all this that time 7 years. So this is why I believe I deserve the car fox I love that fox I love using car fax and always will use it on future purchases I would love to put that car fox on my BMW x5 front inside windshield please send it to me thank you and god bless you and May god bless the USA . 347 283 9682 my number”

“I was looking at purchasing a Buick from an owner and they told me it had never been in a wreck and only had a scrape on the side from someone in another car. The CarFax was run on it before I purchased it and indicated that not only did it have multiple owners and two auction releases, but that it was also involved in a side collision and totaled. After inspection of the car again with this information, the undercarriage did show that it had been bent and straightened out at some point with a lot of rusting in areas where the impact would have been. Not only did this save me from buying a car with a high price for the condition, it also prevented me from buying a car that could have been a serious safety concern for my family!”

“I bought an 11 year old car that had a salvage title. It wasn't being looked at, I suppose, because of the salvage title. But after receiving the Car Fax report on the car, it showed that the car had been repaired 8 years ago and driven almost 40,000 miles since it was rebuilt. Those details on the report gave me the confidence that the car was completely road-worthy.”

“I found the most attractive preowned Ford Focus a few months ago at a local dealership. I got the CarFax report on it, and I was most pleased with the results. Now, I enjoy driving around in most security of its excellent performance as an awesome ride, as good as riding in Arcee of Generation One Transformers. “With help of Carfax, I bought a 2008 Mercury Sable with very low mileage. The Carfax report indicates that the car was under regular maintenance and it was a first-owner one. Now I have been driving it for months with lots of fun and comfort. It is a nice car.”

“My report was very detailed and current. Ii was able to follow the entire life of the car I purchased. I it's service records, ownership lineage, and if there were any title issues (there were none.) It even showed my recent visits since my purchase. I would recommend unlimited VIN searches since my prospective cars didn't have license plates. I also thought the price was high but other sites didn't give as much info so that could be expected. Hope for a better VIN search package.”

“CarFax helped me make a well informed car purchase. I found a 2010 Mercedes ML550 and a 2011 ML550. While the 2011 had more miles I was able to read the CarFax maintenance entries for it. The previous owner performed all scheduled maintenance at their local Mercedes dealership. The entries listed services done including tires, new rotors, etc. With this information it was easy to determine the 2011 with higher miles was the better deal.”

“So many people lie about mileage and how many owners its ridiculous, and with carfax you get the straight truth. Thanks carfax saved us from looking at a lot of waisted cars and trucks.”

“When I was purchasing a car for my only child, running a car fax report saved me from purchasing a bad car three times. One time a seller was trying to sell me a car where the odometer read 100k miles less than the car fax report and the other two times the sellers did not disclose the vehicles were involved in accidents. Car Fax helped me tremendously in purchasing a vehicle not only at the right value but a safe vehicle for my daughter. Thank you CAR FAX”

“I purchased a car for my teenager after much research. Had it checked out by an auto mechanic and was satisfied that the car was fine. After purchasing the car I proceeded to the local MVD to get it registered only to find out that the title should have been Salvage! Yikes! Back to the seller I go who tells me they did not know there was a 'problem' with the title and that they no longer have the money to cancel the sale. "Go ahead and sue me" they say - lovely. A CarFax would have stopped this at the beginning without all the stress.”

“I had researched and looked for my Lexus for months. Finally I found one at the right price but that made me cautious. It didn't have a carfax, the dealer used another service but it wasn't very thorough. I bought and ordered the carfax which showed the previous owner was meticulous in service on the car since new. I was so happy and bought the car which I love. I love the app you all offer for keeping track of what's done and needs to be done on each vehicle. It is easy to use and I really love it. “I always buy used cars, always with low mileage but I am very very picky about what car I purchase. I will typically search for a car for a couple of months, checking the on-line used car websites every day. Eventually, I figure out exactly what I want, right down to the year, color, options, etc, and have a good feel for where the price should be. Then I set my search for nationwide, and just wait for a good buy. When one pops up, I run the Carfax, and then negotiate by telephone. When the deal is done, I fly out, sometimes across the country, buy the car and drive it home. I have always gotten a good car, and it is primarily the Carfax background check that gives me the confidence to fly across the country on a one-way airline ticket, buy a car for cash and drive it several thousand miles home. I have bought cars in Maine, Minnesota, Maryland, Texas, and San Diego and driven them back to the San Francisco Bay Area using this approach. I wouldn't be doing it without the confidence that comes from CarFax.”

“I seen a 1991 Mazda miata with 107k miles for sell I've been burned twice on that certain site so I figured I check the car fax first I ran the car fax for the license plate, the owner wouldn't give me the Vin number unless I was there the owner said it wasn't nessary to run a car fax so of course being burnt twice I ran it what I found out has saved me 3,000 dollars I risked the cost of one report to save thousands, thank you car fax,the car had 300k miles with failed smog multiple times and wrong odometer reading”
