Terrible customer service at the Redhill branch. One small snag which the fitter was instantly honest about, and no apologies from the store and no hopes in trying to correct it either. After days of no help, I just got a refund on the end, the amount of which was incorrect anyway but I've been too exhausted by the issue to correct them. Please look into training your Redhill staff!!

We ordered carpets for every single room leaving out the bathroom and the kitchen. It costed us a lot of money, probably over £700. The guy said "No no, you don't have to move anything nor take out the old carpets". Well if he says that then you better do that cause when the fitters arrived they said "Oh you got to take out the furniture and take out the carpets". Then they just drove off with our carpets which took us a lot of money.

I had to give 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. Floors installed without or an inadequate sub-floor. All floors to be ripped up and re-laid properly by others including removal of skirtings and decorative repair and furniture removed into storage. Carpetright denied responsibility for two years until finally accepting liability after independent survey. Still fighting for cost of repair and disruption. NEVER let this company near your property. They don't care and worse will lie to avoid taking responsibility for their failings and shortcomings.

the carpet which we bought is worth the money,the workmanship is very professional,they took our old carpet away for a very small fee.The shop assistant was very informative regarding the various kinds of carpets.well done carpetright

bought a off cut for £65 , cost of fitting ?? £120 .....£30 delivery , £20 admin fee ?? . £67 fiiting.....no warning as to what the cost was but i have emailed them to find out what the costs are

Carpet right are very helpful when they are taking your money but when it comes to the fitting I have had nothing but problems not brought the right carpet for the size room so had all the furniture move out of the room only to have no carpet to fit . arrange a day off work to have the vinyl fitted in bathroom only for it to be damaged so had to cancel chippy who was coming to do some work rearranged for it to be done a couple of days later only for the fitter to say he won't do it as hasn't got time so again another day off work and had to cancel chippy again and now don't know when they are going to fit it I have three young children and no pretested flooring on the floor I am have the rest of the house carpeted and vinyl at the end of the month and as you can imagine very worried

The products available all seemed fine. I liked the fact that man made materials look so good, wear well and resist stains. However I think their policy of subcontracting the fitting is a cop-out and very unfair. The surveyor/estimator came to my home. He looked at what was to be done, we discussed the open stairs and the fact that I wanted the same carpet throughout the house. He told me how the open stair carpet would be done, There was no problem. I ordered the carpet and paid in full. However, I was away in France when the fitter came. Apparently he had a terrible time trying to fit the carpet to the open stairs. Said it was virtually impossible and that it had made him ill! When I returned it did not look at all as I'd hoped. The fitter agreed but didn't want to come back and redo it. They couldn't find another fitter who would fit an open stair! So I was offered a 'fitting charge' refund of something like £60 (when the fitter had taken all day?) plus some carpet which I was advised to find someone else to fit!? Furthermore they fitted the wrong underlay! I only found out after all the furniture which had been in storage was back in the house! I could have cried! Instead I just walked away and fumed. I'm still angry!

No guarantee ,carpet laid just 4 months and then faded ,carpetright wouldn't even look at it,we have replaced some of it ,as we had all bungalow done.this is second carpet that is faulty we also had a house done. Definitely will not be going to carpetright anymore CS0181417 ref.

Showroom experience was good but the fitting was certainly not. Fitters took doors off as the carpet would not fit and just left them propping up the wall. This means I now have to find a carpenter to complete the job by shaving the doors & refitting them. It will also mean having to make 3 separate payments for the purchase - the store for the carpet, the fitters themselves (Carpetright do not do this) and now a carpenter. Appalling customer service.

Went into my local branch as I had seen a nice blue carpet for my bathroom I could hear the staff in the backroom but the only staff member on the floor asked what I wanted I told him about the carpet I'd seen and before I could give him any measurements he told me bluntly I couldn't have the carpet it wasn't a bathroom carpet new one on me I was gobsmacked I didn't know what to say he then said can i help you with the door as I am in a wheelchair and I left I felt like a leper a carpet shop that doesn't sell carpet that certainly d8ffrent

Supposed to deliver and fit carpets 10am this morning, they called 10am this morning to say not enough people to do fitting. said can do half the job tomorrow but don't know when rest cam be laid !!!!

Kitchen vinyl has been fitted badly bought from Derby, even cut short on one door frame think apprentice fit it im really upset about it. Brand new kitchen wanted to finish itboff nice Buy all my carpets from there never again.

Made a complaint about false information given by shop staff so emailed customer service (twice) no reply. Diabolical service would never ever use them again.

Went to order a carpet which was just for a small office room , wanted something cheapish , quote was ridiculous - £30 delivery 1/2 mile up the road , I asked if I could collect it and was told they would not fit it or guarantee if we collected - we have a whole and would be spending a few thousand on carpets - so guess what , we left and went elsewhere , to give you an idea carpet price was £100 , Fitting and delivery doubled it and more. Won't be back

Paid for bathroom carpet to be fitted along with hall, stairs and landing. Bathroom not fitted. Fitters had no floor plan for the bathroom. Customer service useless, ordered carpet on 2nd April not fitted till May 28 th. Still waiting for bathroom to be fitted supposed to be July 12 th. Was supposed to get a call from the manager, whom I had been dealing with from the start, on 26 th June to confirm NOTHING.!! Will never ever use this company again. I have paid for carpet I have not got. This is ongoing and yet again may have to go back to the store at Banbury.
