Never by a car from here.. I was sold a car which had an unregistered accident. From the start I had an FCA warning light registering. Couldn't get returns on calls eventually went to main dealership to be told it had been in an accident and the FCA camera would be £1900 to fix! Carshop would not help currently have finance company involved.

DO NOT USE THIS SO CALLED COMPANY. How this company can sell vehicles is beyond me. Unprofessional, lying and sold me an unsafe car which i was driving around in for 5 months!! After a long stressful process of going through the complaints procedure with my finance company it has been resolved. I had a independent engineer do a report on my car and within minutes of doing a walk round of the car deemed it unsafe to drive due to the brakes being way below the safety standards! Whats concerning is the fact the car was in and out of Carshop & the cars dealership and not one person picked up on the brakes!!!! Im just thankful I wasn't involved in an accident.

Do Not Buy A Vehicle from these Lying, Unprofessional Bastards. They sold me a £10K BMW which has given me nothing but problems. Unserviced and Faulty vehicles. Don't get fooled by the Sytner name as I am sure Sytner are part of these dodgy and unsafe vehicles which are being sold. I believe they have recently changed their name from CarShop to Sytner Select. Sytner should be ashamed that they are part of all this. Please don't risk your life by buying a faulty unserviced vehicles and then the constant lies when you ask them to fix the faults.

Great at selling cars but not so great at paying your finance off your old car when you trade one in. Still waiting 5 weeks afterwards and two lots of finance payments come out. You cannot speak to anyone in their finance department and no-one seems to like to take responsibility. Complaint lodged.

Has anyone on here taken legal advice about The Car Shop or Synter as they are now known? I bought a car two years ago for £18400 took out an extended warranty as the wonderful sales adviser on commission said "You absolutely need a warranty for such a car with expensive parts should anything go wrong you will be covered" famous last words of two years down the line the engine blows up and wow of course the warranty don't want to pay!!!! Obviously the garage don't return calls either what sort of people work for this company!!! Please can anyone get in touch on here if they have any look in taking legal action?.

Cranberry location was terrible. My daughter had found a car there she really liked she needed a car. We spent four hours there with the salesman named Jim. He deceived us With the financing, Kept jumping from one desk to another, helping other customers, And instead of me being the cosigner for her, it turned out. I am now the owner of the car. Because she needed the car we were stuck. Will not recommend to anyone. We were trading in a car from Robinson car shop. It was a lemon. Experiences With both car shop locations has been horrible. Don’t do it

£21,300 For a broken car! I spent £21,300 on a 3-year-old BMW 3 Series (RE71 BUP) with 25,000 miles. I requested it to be cleaned on Saturday for collection on Sunday. When I arrived at the agreed collection time of 1 PM, I had to wait well over 20 minutes to be seen. Fortunately, Georgia noticed my frustration and assisted with the paperwork and payment. Over an hour and a half after arriving at the dealership, I finally received my car, only to find it was still dirty. With a 4-hour drive home ahead of me, I left promptly. After getting the car up to speed (55-70 mph), it began making a vibrating and rubbing noise from the engine area. I pulled over at the next services and emailed Carshop, as they were now closed. The following workday, Daniel passed me onto the Subcon team, who booked the car into a local garage. The garage confirmed the noise and suggested it could be a transmission issue. Subsequently, Carshop booked the car into a local BMW garage 6 days later. BMW also noticed the vibration and noise and verbally advised that the car had impact damage and had likely been in a crash and poorly repaired. Following this, I requested a full refund from Carshop. Kate then reached out to advise that they are awaiting the report from BMW before anything can be taken further and that a diagnostic check would need to be carried out. I'm unsure what the other two garages have done with the car if they haven't at least carried this out already. Currently, I'm stuck with a faulty £21,300 car with no resolution in sight. I'd avoid this business in the future as the customer care and cars aren't up to standard. I'll update my review as things progress. The bar is on the floor.

After sale is totally shocking. Got the car from Doncaster. They are closing down. Had to go to Nottingham to try and get things sorted. No interest from staff or manager. Avoid at all cost.

CarShop Northampton There is such a huge turn over of cars, the staff didn't seem to have a clue what they had on the lot. We reserved a car advertised with 13,000 miles on the clock. Lovely! Prior to a test drive we checked it's MOT history online to find it had done over 41,000. During the test drive we brought this up. Naturally we asked if the price could be reduced to match the new tripled+ mileage - nope. After a bit of persuasion they offered £150 off... pretty lame. We asked if they could price match to another Audi we found at another branch. Nope. They don't price match cars within the company. We asked if they could extend the reservation period by a day so we could consider further. This seemed like such hard work, I said don't worry we'll stay within our time. However they've already put it back online. Essentially they really do not care about you, your experience, or the car you drive off with. They'll be another customer along soon anyway.

We must say we were both very impressed with the service we received - a hands on service from start to finish. Kyle made the experience of buying two cars so simple. We also had dealings with Justin and Mark who were also excellent as was Jacob who helped with the paperwork. He had the patience of a saint! After purchasing the cars there were a few issues and the star of the show was Lewis Gardner. He sorted out these issues straight away very professionally. He is a very important part of the team. Keep hold of him.

Travelled over 200miles to complete the purchase and collect a BMW. As agreed at the point of sale, Car Shop Swindon advised that the car was in good condition with no damage. Upon inspection the car had a split in its tyre making it unroadworthy, had not been detailed at all with dog hairs all in the car and the smell of dog very strong as well as a number of stone chips. Car Shop whilst acknowledging the above would not reduce purchase cost for above factors and completely wasted our time as we walked away from the purchase. Would not recommend and would also stress that you need to look carefully at what is covered in the 3 months warranty they provide at an extra cost!

We’ve paid a lot of money for a car which isn’t in good condition. Also, if you take them up on the MOT/service offer… don’t! They do basic basic minimum checks and don’t advise what work should be done to keep your car safe or legal for the next 12 months. Our tyres were weeks away from the illegal limit and they didn’t advise we needed to change them. The alignment was also off which we asked them about as I could feel the car pulling, but they said that it was fine. Thankfully we took it to KwikFit to get checked and they’ve taken photos and evidence to show why it really shouldn’t have passed MOT. We bought this car just over a year ago. Shocking service and selling dodgy cars. (It’s already broken down twice - totally separate to the tyre issue).

Purchased a Q5 last year, after sales is vertually none existent. Reported same problem 3x times. 3x times and STILL problem continues. This company needs to accountable for its after sales. There should be an investigation from a third party, nothing to do with the company and follow up customer complaints. After all without customers there’d be no company. People and their concerns matter, buying a car is an exspensive commitment.

Disgraceful customer service About three months ago, I bought a Vauxhall mokka X from car shop Doncaster when looking round the car and we took it for a test drive. The brakes was grinding. I mentioned this to the salesperson and was told this was probably because it been sat in the showroom which I thought yeah okay so we left it . 10 days to get the car sorted just to get out it was an absolute disgrace on customer service got the car out within two weeks breaks still grinding and a wobble on steering wheel when breaking at high speed so the car was booked back in for them to have a look. They put the car on the ramps and just said the brakes was wear and tear. I left it even though it had a three month warranty ,two months down the line I reported it again couldn’t get in one day due to work so I’ve booked it in again. Went in today to have a look at the technician who drove it and said yes there’s a definite problem. Car shop are now saying that there’s nothing they can do I want to charge me for new brakes and pads shocking customer service I have bought four cars in the last 10 years from car shop, but this will be the last time. I use them as the customer service has been really really poor from start to finish. So be aware when buying from carship any problems they don't want to know about it. Get your money then that's it .

God forbid you need aftercare. Took the money and ghosted me. Avoid Harry at all costs as his silver tongue has gone dry when I need his help. My cars Tyre Pressure Monitor light came on as soon as I hit the M1. Slow puncture confirmed by the Doncaster branch not that Wakefield would know as all 4 Tyres were at wildly different pressure levels. Also coolant light came on twice in 24 hours as it was low. The “service” they claim to have done has clearly been exaggerated and now I’m concerned other things have been skipped over. Finally found two cars for the price match promise and haven’t had a response to my email. Harry is ignoring me as is customer service. Working day 6 without a reply and counting.
