“When I came to collect my new car, I waited at the store for 3.5 hours, first allegedly because something could not be snapped back into the seat after the valet (which I didn’t believe), then eventually I was told the extra delay was because the finance hadn’t gone through. Another finance company was tried and I was promised recompense of the extra money it will cost off my deposit. This has not been refunded. I was eventually given a courtesy car (for which I was very grateful) and told my car would be delivered the next day. When I received a phone call the next afternoon I was told the finance hadn’t gone through the previous day because the salesman had put in my date of birth incorrectly. I finally got my car that evening and was very surprised that there were no mats! All in all, my experience could have been better. We came to Carz with the intention of buying both a car for me and for my son. I’m not sure you’ll get my son’s business now.”

“Had a wee problem to start with but it got sorted. My sales person Ryan is fantastic not one bad thing to say apart from keep up the good work. The girl who did the hand over was very pleasant. The only bad thing I can say is the phones when you try to call .you get put to a central hub then they try and get the person you want . Think they should have an office in the garage with someone doing the phones. Apart from that five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. Keep up the good work Ryan”

“While the salesman, Harry, was great the quality of the preparation of the car was sub-par, the tracking was off, there was a slow puncture in the driver side tyre and we had to wait over two hours in the car shop after our given pickup time, it was as if they had forgotten and rushed through their standards check.Our salesman noticed a tear in the rear windscreen wiper as we were finally about to leave the shop. The sales staff inside the actual shop were good but getting a hold of anyone the day after the pickup when I was up for work and noticed the front driver side tyre was flat it was impossible to get a hold of anyone until the afternoon.”

“Travelled from Cleland to view a Ford Ecosport which we viewed online looking lovely on a turntable.What a let down that was.It had a flat tyre,flat battery,corroded wiper arms and was absolutely filthy inside. Wasted journey.We looked at a vaux.mokka and we're interested in buying only to be told no keys were available to have a test drive! Third choice we found a better mokka inside but was only allowed to test drive in the compound, around 200 yards.Then came another anomaly. The price of the car was displayed as £8499 but the salesman said that was the wrong price it should be £8600!!This didn't just happen once, all the cars we looked at were not displaying the true price! This surely contravenes the trade descriptions act. The price displayed is what I should have paid. Then as displayed in small print on every price ticket--an "admin" fee of £169 ! for what? Then to crown the rape of my wallet a sneaky donation of £15 added to an already inflated cost.No one asked me if I would like to make a donation, it was just added to the list of charges!! Also a place that size merits having a switchboard operator as I tried around 4 different calls to try to speak to someone, it just rang and rang and rang and rang!Very frustrating. I ended up with a nice car but it's not an experience I will be repeating. No communication and not transparent enough. John Ritchie.”

“The car was very dirty and seats were also soaking wet and my boyfriends shots got stained as the seats must of still been dirty!! Totally disgusting and will be taking it for a full valley.”

“I recently bought a car from this store and I have to say that the relaxed sales approach was a winner for me. No ultimatums, threats of losing the car if I didn’t take out finance with them (liked I’d experienced just before finding Peter Vardy) and a great video covering what I needed it to. Carz answered my questions, and dealt with my needs helpfully and practically. Only minor issue was that it was sometimes hard to get through to the branch on the phone and speak directly to the relevant person, but that seems to be a general Covid service issue.”

“This was the first place we went to when looking for a car, and we did not feel the need to go anywhere else afterwards. The reception in the showroom was welcoming and the sales staff listened to what we were looking for. Garry then showed us what was available and left us to examine the cars at our leisure. He was always available during the three hours it took us to decide on a vehicle and when we spotted another vehicle in the yard he immediately got the keys so we could examine it. We did not feel under any pressure to make a decision and are very happy with the decision we made.”
