“First time used Peter Vardy, not impressed. One doesn’t know what the other is doing. Purchased a 6 month old car when delivered had no manual, breakdown, warranty or service documents which is the first I knew. Called to inquire where they were, salesman said would call back he never. Called the next day on several occasions and not one person called me back. After sales is diabolical, I spent a lot of money on my car and no one has the decency to return a phone call. Also lots of conflicting information on their website or as I say false advertising with lots of spelling mistakes.... Doesn’t give much confidence that they are very professional. Also had asked them to look at a scuff on wing mirror before they delivered, said they would definitely sort it, not sorted. Tell you what you want to hear at the time then just ignore it....wouldn’t go back as I can’t stand bad customer service.”

“Good experience buying a nearly new car at Peter Vardy Hillington, and also post-purchase, as car showed a couple of intermittent electronic gremlins which dealership is investigating quickly. I previously rarely changed my car and was nervous about buying through a dealership, especially on my own, during covid. However, the whole experience felt very simple and safe. I had the opportunity to try more than one car at short notice. I felt supported not pressured during and after the appointment, and everyone was very helpful. Chris Mitchell, the salesman, in particular was patient and informative. The prices were competitive. Would recommend Chris as the good service didn’t stop at point of purchase. He’s been responsive, very helpful and instrumental in getting swift attention for the glitches. Hoping those will be resolved quickly and easily as otherwise I’m happy with my purchase. I’ll be changing my car more frequently in future and would use Chris again.”

“Christopher Mitchell from Hillington Carz, who I have been dealing with, has been most helpfull, friendly and knowlagable and has told me to contact him if I need any further help with the car. I have at arranged with your garage to return the vehicle next week, for them to fix a few things I noticed when I took it for a first drive i.e. Brake lamp warning light, rear bulb not working and no screen wash at all in car .I thought these things would have been sorted out after going through the advertised Peter Vardy 114 point checkup etc. I have also asked for a copy of the 114 point test report and Service history as the last recorded paperwork I received was from 2017 ( photos attattched ) Many Thanks John MacDonald”

“Like all large businesses Peter Vardy Carz present a good image staff are friendly and helpful , however behind the scenes things are unorganised . Checks are left until the agreed handover time which means unnecessary hanging around the dealership in these COVID times ,car was not ready and agreed works not done on the car, after a 1hr 50 minute wait we left without the vehicle .We collected the car the following day after yet another 44 mile round trip to the dealership , whilst customer services and staff were helpful ,the supposed manager on site offered no apology for our inconvenience instead sees it as a blame game. Peter Vardy Carz need to be more aware of these COVID times ,holding customers on site for 1 hr 50 mins and extra journeys to collect cars are putting everyone at risk .To date we have had no follow up call from any member of Peter Vardy management to discuss issues that we raised with customer services .An honest opinion would be visit small local independent dealerships ,where attention to detail and repeat business is important .”

“Initial sale of the car was good however when I came to back to pick up the car the alloy on the front left hand side was badly scratched and there were also a few scratches on the back left alloy also which wasn't there when I test drove the car and paid the deposit. Thick make-up which was around the steering wheel on first visit also hadn't been removed as promised therefore I didn't recieve the car that day and was told I could come back the next day which I did. I was happy to see that the make-up had been removed and the front left alloy had been fixed however the back left was still scratched so the woman kindly took the car back to the garage to be repaired while we waited around 30mins and they also touched up the marks under one of the wing mirrors. The woman then kindly took the time to show me all the functions in the car that I wasn't show on first inspection however she did tell me that the car was full with screen wash as the roads where horrible conditions with grit but I soon found out there was no screen wash in the car on my drive home which was quite dangerous! All in all I am pleased with the car.”
