I give them four stars because I’m here at the store. They are supposed to open at 10 AM according to the sign and the store still close at 10:10 AM. This is very unprofessional. I’m here for last-minute purchase since I have an event in two hours and this is not good . But overall, this is a great store. It has a lot of variety and affordable prices on clothing. Mckinney,TX

I was a very frequent shopper at Cato’s. Guaranteed I spend 6-8000 a year. I bought my normal size pants like so many I have bought before. I took the tags off before trying them on because I was sure since I bought 2 more pair just like it that they would fit and had recently worn those which fit perfectly. They were too big… I believe mid sized. I went to take them back with pants, yaks and receipt in hand and they refused to allow me to return them bc their policy is if the tags are off they don’t return. I called corporate and they also refused to make it right. The pants had been worn only for me to try them on and take them off. They lost my business forever. This policy is so non customer friendly that they should be ashamed of themselves… especially since everyone is having a hard time buying anything. This policy will cost them business. I can understand if I had worn them for a day or had gotten stains on them but non of that was the case. What a shame for Cato’s and their customers that a policy like this exists and isn’t left up to the discretion of the store to decide if the clothing is damaged or worn beyond trying them on. I hope everyone that shops at Catos will remember to wear your clothes with the tags on them for a while to see if they fit. It is also a shame that Catos has now lost me as a customer and also my 2 best friends that spend a lot of money in their stores. I am sure they have lost hundreds of other customers because of this lame policy.

I was shopping at the Newnan store, she marked my money and just Circled it at the end over and over, then she did the same thing to my ten dollar bill. Then she held the Bill's up in the air. I was then disgusted. I hate to be treated like I am distributing counterfeit money. You have a pen to mark the Bill's, why go through all of that. You are not trashing the Bill's, they leave your store and go to the bank. I called the home office, she just said she would pass it on to the district manager. This is not a high end store so why are you treating your customers like this? She said if they didn't do it, they would get fired. Keep your merchandise and I will keep my money. I will never shop at a place where they think you are a criminal.

I love everything in the store but as a suggestion there should be men’s clothing as well as women’s clothing you would get way more costumes.

I went shopping in the cottonwood store. The woman who was working told me I needed to be on the side for plus size women. I went and wandered around there and then went back to the regular sizes and selected a few things. She asked me what I was doing on that side. I said I had always shopped on the side. She huffed away. I did purchase my items but don’t think I will go back soon.

The lady lets me into the store. I see a dress I like and I asked her if I could try it on. She tells me no, I'm locking the doors in 2 minutes!! Why let me into the store? So, I told her I wasn't buying the dress. I hung it back up and left the store. Must not have needed my money. Will shop at Belk instead. She did the same thing to another girl as well. If you're closing your store in 2 minutes, then why wasn't the door already locked!!!

Store 01136 in San Antonio: I was in the store 20 minutes and was asked 8 times “are you doing ok”. I felt hounded and right when looking at something new here came another associate. Totally ridiculous and made for an uncomfortable/suffocating experience. This has happened twice at this store. No other and I shop lots of different stores and even in different states. I called and the manager said it was their policy. Once, twice I could see but this is overkill at this store ONLY. Won’t go back there!

The return policy even when you have your receipt, the tags are attached they will give you half price if your past the 60 days I was 5 days later than 60 like I told the sales clerk when I purchased I would be for my sisters birthday gift. They cheated me out of $25 dollars rather than keep a happy customer. I tried to call the corporate office.They could only send an email which they did. I waited for twenty minutes and the district manager Lisa Larimer called from 863 399 0878 she was unable or unwilling to help. I was given a credit for half what I paid and told "I'm Sorry" this store has cute er tops but the quality of pants is terrible. I have shopped here for years but today changes that. LOVE Cato's in Cottonwood AZ!! The store Manager Patsy is amazing! She's helpful, professional and knows the stores products! She exhibits true leadership and it shows in how helpful her employees are too! The clothing is is lovely and the prices are right! Thank goodness for Cato's and for the manager Patsy and her employees!! I give 10 stars!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My shopping experience was lovely until I reached the register where the cashier was very rude and was giving unnecessary attitude. This was at the Cato Fashions at 1324 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29210. I did not appreciate her rudeness.

Me and my sister went to Cato's in Alcoa TN. Let me tell the two woman that was working on 4/14/2024 were so kind, sweet and such a big help. We were trying to find clothes for a wedding. We both found something. I give them.a 10 out 10. I highly recommend that store. Hope you will be as lucky as we were to have the same two woman help you. They are amazing. Thank you for your help. I most definitely will be back.

My sister and I went to the Cato's in Celina Ohio 15 min. before it closed. They wouldn't let us try our clothes on because they had already cleaned the dressing rooms. My sister had around $150.00 worth of clothing and I had about $100.00. We are grown adults and would not trash the dressing rooms. Pretty sad that they would pass up a sale instead of staying a few minutes late. I thought if a store said they were open until 6 that meant 6, not 5:45. Their loss.

Cato Thomasville Nc gas the nicest people working there !! I love going in to my home town store , I get personal style advice. I always feel like a million bucks when I wear my new look. You would think you were in a high price boutique , by the way you are treated. I love it

You don’t carry any extra small or small in your stores. Only tons of large and extra large. Believe me, there are some smaller sized women in today’s world. So frustrated. And you have made all the clothes so big!! I think you are trying to get the stores to fail. Someone needs to look into what they are putting in the stores. The store I go to is always filled with only the larger sizes. The nice sales people say they hardly ever get the small sizes. Such a shame.

I live in Hawaii and placed an order 27 days ago and have not received it. I’ve paid the extra shipping only to find out they only ship using Standard which can take up to 60 days which no where it states in their website according speaking to their Customer service representative. In their website it states other wise. This is ridiculous. I will never buy anything from them again. Listen to your customers and pay using priority mail.. don’t cheat us to save a buck.

I shopped online because the customer service at my local Cato is horrible. Guess what? So is the online service. Ordered a pair of shoes on 2/8. I never received them. I emailed the company several times and it was always "please allow so many days and there was a holiday too" blah, blah, blah. Everything I ordered afterwards from other companies was delivered. I finally had enough on 2/23 and demanded a refund. Either they lost it or someone in receiving/shipping stole them because they never made it to UPS. I've been in customer service for 30 years and if you value your customers you will do anything to keep and make your customers happy. They only apologized after I confronted them. They have lost a wonderful customer because I always get compliments when I wear their merchandise. I will never give them my business or money again. 😠

I want to commend the store mgr., Lisa, at store #939 in Ft.Smith, Ark. on Rogers Ave. I am from a nearby small town and I bought a pair of jeans that I fell in love with, but they were too small. So I took them to the location in my town to exchange them for a bigger pair, I had lost the receipt and any identifying paperwork with the order # and the location in my small town, after an employee was extremely rude to me was unable to assist me. Lisa was able to get a pair of the same jeans from the Junior dept. and use that order # and was able to order me the correct size. I appreciate her, I spend a lot of money in Cato stores, I do want to say I love the store mgr and most of the employees at the location in my small town and they are exceptionally nice but It was Lisa at store #939 in FT. Smith. Ark on Rogers Ave. that was able to help me and I appreciate her and want to thank her
