it is an honor and pleasure for me to write a few lines regarding Christopher Ward and the absolutely great service.
I collect watches for a little over 30 years with special interest of WWII watches, pilot watches in generel , Marine and diving watches.
In many books I ´ve read about the excellent watchmaking industry of Great Brittan and with my preference for the United Kingdom, I have always held up my eyes to find mechanical, english watchmaking history.
Approximatly 5 years ago I found notes about CHRISTOPHER WARD and followed the
" trace" to the CW web side.
To cut a long story short , for the time beeing I own 3 masterpieces from CW and I am more than happy with every single watch.
The service and helpfull informations from the team of CW was every time a decision support , and this makes the difference.
Finally, I would like to add that all "watch" friends who warned me about the experience "CW" have become calm by now and experience the success story on my arm.:-)

“In retrospect, I can't recall how I learned Christopher Ward existed; in any event, I've purchased three watches over the years and, on my strong recommendation, another person bought one as a birthday gift. I don't believe the recipient has taken it off in the four years since.
Christopher Ward is a pleasure to buy from. The product is top-shelf and everyone seems to be passionate about their job and their customers' satisfaction. I'm in the U.S. and the company is in England, and there have been occasional external glitches in the process. Normally I hate any delay or issue but here, it results in a cheerful correspondence that's actually fun. Any problems were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Most of my purchasing is internet and there is nobody - and I mean NOBODY - selling a product who cares more about customer satisfaction than the CW employees.
As for the product itself, I have more watches than anybody could possibly justify owning, from preposterously expensive to embarrassingly cheap. CW watches are so far above other brands in their price point that comparison just isn't meaningful, and they are on par with those retailing in the $15,000-$20,000 range.
Another issue that CW buyers don't have to consider is counterfeiting. When you buy CW, you're buying from the source. Modern counterfeits can be so well-done that even professionals are fooled, including reputable jewelers. Because of the CW business model eliminating the middle men it's bulletproof on forgeries.
Buying a CW watch automatically includes you in a family, and by paying attention to the materials you receive from time to time you will find yourself learning much useful information about the business of making and marketing watches.

“Not only is my Trident C60 Pro MKII amazing, simple and robust but the customer service was excellent. My leather band wore down faster than it should have and within 24 hours and a couple emails, they were sending me a new band for free because of the inconvenience. As for my watch, I have put it through everything from diving, hiking and cooking for it to end up in a condition that is like new after 6 months of activity. Could not be happier. Great people. Great products. Great end-result!”
“I bought a C11 MSL Automatic. It is a great experience to open the box and find a personal letter letter nicely drafted from CW himself. The best part is the watch itself which looks better than what is displayed in the website. After I places the order I emailed them to provide me a different strap other than what comes with the watch. Wera attended to the requests and gave a C8 Regulator's Strap that looks really awesome and at no extra cost. For me watch has been performing perfectly with less than 5 Seconds per week.

“I had been wanting a Trident for quite some time and decided to pull the trigger when the new design came out. Ordering seemed fine but then availability turned out to be, at best, a wild guess. After contacting CS several times I suggested accepting a different color combination than what I had ordered. It took forever for that watch to arrive in the US but that is understandable as the watches are coming from the UK and it shipped across a US holiday.
Upon receiving the watch I was very happy. While it wasn't in the same league as my SMP I really liked the watch. As I wore the watch I noticed that it was running consistently fast. I never ran within spec (I was and am about +60s/day). I gave it a chance as I understand that sometimes watches need to "settle".
Fast forward a few weeks and there is no improvement. I contact CW CS and the turn around time is out of this world. (They compare their turn around time to other manufacturers. Not impressed.) As this is a new watch that was effectively DOA (never ran correctly), and I'm within my 60-day window I suggest a return/exchange. At first they say I'm out of my 60-day window. Basic math indicates I'm not and I get them to agree to that fact. Now they say they will only accept it as an exchange if it is in "if the watch is in box perfect condition, and not worn".
I could have had the same experience purchasing a cheap Chinese automatic that was pretty but inaccurate and saved myself somewhere in the neighborhood of $800.”
