“Scammers! Don't deliver items and then you cannot contact customer service! I still have no goods or refund.
I brought for a special birthday and it never arrived! So embarrassing for me as it makes me look like I've forgotten the birthday!”
“Wish I'd checked out the reviews before ordering.
I put in a first order of over £30 and after emailing them about it being a birthday present we settled on the delivery date of the 20nd July. They contacted emailed me at 4pm on the day it was supposed to have been delivered, saying an item in my order was out of stock and to pick another cheese. I replied back asking why my order wasn't out for delivery and stating again this order was a birthday present. Received a reply this morning (21st) saying my order has been confirmed and I'd get a dispatch email. They totally ignored me asking why my order wasn't delivered on the 20th.
I replied back this morning again asking why it wasn't delivered yesterday on the agreed date and have received no reply or a dispatch email. Ive also messaged on FB. I'm so glad I decided to wait on ordering for myself. Its my son in laws birthday tomorrow and it doesn't look like the order will get there in time.
I do not recommend this company and I definitely won't be putting in any future orders if this is how they treat customers.

“Terrible experience. Evri “Next Day” failed to deliver twice last week and so cheese was melted and the whole parcel was soiled. Father’s Day gift ruined! Then customer service started haggling over a refund. Shocking! Avoid Chuckling Cheese Co and shop with a proper business.”
“What a horrible customer experience! I have ordered 3 cheeses for a gift to someone, the order arrived and when I opened the box, it was completely wrong. I have messaged them on the website, no answer. Sent an email, no answer. Sent another email chasing and the answer was: "Thank you for your email, unfortunately we had to make some substitutions as we are out of stock of the Charcoal Cheddar requested for your order. Apologies for any inconvenience caused." What? So nobody has contacted be in advance to ask if I wanted any substitutions and what I would like instead. I ordered one thing, and received something else completely different and they expect me to be happy with it. So I asked them for a full refund and to collect the cheeses back, they offered me a 50% refund to keep something that I didn't order. Of course I don't want to keep something I didn't order, the order was a gift and it was a specific cheese. But no response anymore. Disgusting customer service. Awful customer experience. I have purchased from them for a few years, and for sure this was the last time.”
“If I could give 0 stars I would. I contacted them multiple times in early December when i received the package with a damaged box and damaged products inside. I had to go through not on the high st to eventually get hold of them (after they ignored my 3 emails and 2 voicemails). They offered a replacement empty cardboard box for the packaging with no acknowledgement of terrible customer service or damaged product inside. Still arguing with them currently. Ridiculous. Terrible. Dont care about customers. Avoid at all costs”

Ordered on 12th December, i checked to make sure it would be delivered before christmas, which it said promised date 22.12. Didnt arrive on that date so I have called about 16 times (no answer) left about 5 messages, sent messages on Instagram & Facebook and no reply! How can a company operate in this way. If they are having problems, put out a statement and explain they have no stock or issue with courier etc. I have raised a complaint with trading standards and am going to contact my bank to see if they can help at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give them 0 stars i would. I wish I lived closer as I would go into the shops and collect my goods that I have paid for. I urge everyone who has had this awful service from them to raise a complaint with trading standards. Oh and they also delete messages from all their social media platforms, then block you from commenting. SHOCKING”
“I ordered some cheeses and other items on December 6th, hoping to make a Christmas hamper for my daughter and son-in-law. It is now 21st December & I still have not received the delivery. I have tried phoning numerous times and emailing but get no response. I will now have to try & source the food items elsewhere. Please do not order from this company!”

Constant unanswered phone calls, answer phone messages and FB messages ignored plus numerous emails sent.

“After placing my order, it took long time to be delivered. I ordered some pickled onions which had leaked and four bottles of beer. All of the labels looked like they had been stuck on by a toddler! I have tried emailing and phoning numerous times with no answer. I did get an answer from fb messenger but this was only to tell me that I had contacted a store and they didn't deal with online orders. AVOID THIS COMPANY!”
“My item was dispatched on Friday 2nd December and has been in the Peterborough Mail Center ever since.
The Chuckling Cheese Company do not respond to emails at all, despite saying they will within 24 hours. I emailed as soon as I noticed this was not moving on Monday 5th December, 4 days later I am still waiting for a reply.
The Chuckling Cheese Company do not answer the telephone. I made several attempts on the 6th & 7th December.

The complete and utter lack of service received here when trying to rescue a lost Christmas present was disappointing and unexpected. When things go wrong it is a good measure of a business as to how easily you can contact them and what they will do to help put things right and on this basis I would actively discourage people from using The Chuckling Cheese Company. You simply can not rely on them to help you should things go wrong.
I appreciate it looks as though this is an issue with Royal Mail but a complete inability to engage with The Chuckling Cheese Company will ensure that I never ever use them again and that is a great shame. At this point I am down the money I spent on the item with little to no hope of recovering the siutation.”

You will never receive the items you paid for. I ordered an advent calendar on the 16/10 to be delivered on the 23/11
On the 25th they told me they had problems offered me 10% refund which I never received. They apparently dispatched my item on the 28th .it never arrived and was told by the courier that it was never dispatched
Now it's a fight to get a full refund as its almost impossible to contact them”
