“Arrived quickly and perfectly packaged, however I am not impressed with my first Ciate purchase to be honest. You need a good 3-4 coats to get anywhere near the advertised shade, which you would think would give your nails extra protection from chips but sadly this isn’t the case. It chips so easily even with the top coat. You can actually scratch off one coat. I’m glad I only bought the minis to try and not full size.”

“Quick delivery considering it was Christmas. Good price. Purchased Glitter lips duo and polish in sale. Polish unusual colour in nice sized bottle. Glitter lips ok but left lips dry and little in the way of glitter even though I followed the instructions”

“The advent calander is a great first however the nail polish itself ionly last a few days before chipping. I would expect a luxury brand to last at least a week so I have been a little disappointed. I love all the colours and would be great for young teens/ girls however I would not purchase again.”

“Love the products ordered three times in total, However the third order i did not receive, But paypal details were taken. Im not saying they are untrustworthy but I do think they are slow resolving problems. Thats why only 3 star review”

“I purchased two of the glitter lipsticks. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed as they do not sparkle at all like advertised! I did inform Ciate London and out of goodwill they said I could choose another item for the same price. I'm currently still awaiting it's arrival.”

“The idea is fantastic and with a bit of practice you can get the perfect cat eye, however the product is not smudge proof spent most of the night cleaning black smudges from my eye area and this happened all night long so never did dry”

“I am very happy with the product I bought however I don't understand why you would send such a small packet via hermes courier. They are hopeless and it would put me off ordering from you again knowing how difficult it is to get hermes to deliver to me”

“I ordered two lipsticks from this company but was very disappointed with colours of both of them. Fortunately my daughter loved both of them. The pictures on the website do not give you the true colour of them they were valentine and whisper and were totally different colours when I received them. Will think twice before I purchase again.”

“First time I have use this company, bought nail varnish package and, although they were clearly quality products, arrived just wrapped individually in bubble wrap. This purchase was intended as a gift so I contacted customer service to ask if they could send me a gift box (I was willing to pay). The reply was a flat 'No sorry unable to do that'. Considering the order should have amounted to £90, I am glad I used a discount code via MSE, otherwise I would have been fuming. Not the best in customer service”

“Initially it would appear good service but!!! On the 18th Sept I ordered some nail varnish, the next day I realised that Ithad The wrong delivery address & immediately contacted Ciate, they informed me that it had already been dispatched & nothing could done. I contacted the couriers & they informed me that a change of address is possible provided Ciate contacted them. Again informed Ciate of this & a change of address was made. I checked with the couriers to find out the revised delivery date, they told me that the package had been returned, at Ciate's request. It is now nearly 3 weeks since the order was originally made & I have not received my order”
