Clock Shop takes you on an incredible journey into the world of clocks. From mechanical cuckoo clocks and chiming grandfather clocks to watches, music boxes and anniversary clocks, there are literally hundreds of clocks to see and choose from.

As well as clocks, there is a fabulous range of German made weather instruments, barometers and weather houses, German souvenirs, beer steins, European Christmas decorations including nutcrackers, smoking men and Christmas pyramids.

Great website of items with good descriptions and size I also spoke to 2 of your staff members - helpful, polite and made my purchase and organising delivery so much easier. A number of the items I ordered were apparently out of stock, if that was the case I shouldn't have been able to order them in the first place. Items that weren't available were substituted with similar items but I wasn't asked if that's what I wanted or not. Some of the items I ordered were pre-order so I waited for those to come in before the order was sent so there were almost 2 months where I could have been asked what I wanted to do. That's really poor service.

Dear Toni, Thank you for your honest feedback. I am very sorry that you waited so long and were not advised that some of the selected options were not available. While some of these items have optional styles available, all options are not always available which is clearly stated in the product description: Please use the selector to choose your desired style. If available, we will ship the selected style. We cannot guarantee availability on all types at any time. If your selection is not available, or no option is selected, we will ship what is available on hand. In this case, mixed Christmas decorations are a real challenge for us as we don't have the resources as a small family business to unpack every mixed box and check the styles we have received. We are looking at ways to improve this as we understand this can be disappointing for our customers. Great selection of products to choose from. Lack of email communication between order and dispatch resulted in a queerying phone call. The customer service when phoned was exceptional. Order received was well packaged however not exactly what was ordered.

Email communications are automated with all dispatch and tracking information however we sometimes find that certain ISP's block our communications. Ordered on 2/9/23 email invoice said would be released 10/10/23 I rang them around 23/10 (Hayley) to enquire where order is advised would be released around 11/11/23 again I rang (Rachel) to be advised still waiting for stock - on dock Item arrived 26/11/23 There was no ‘customer service’ in that no emails sent to advise what was happening with my order unless I called to find out Disappointing service after you were recommended to me by a friend However I love my nutcracker advent calendar

Hi Veronica, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I really appreciate your honesty. Firstly I want to apologise for the disappointing experience. This is certainly not the quality of service we strive to provide. The item you ordered was a preorder, meaning it had been ordered and was being shipped from Germany. Unfortunately there was an error in our system and this date was incorrect. After your phone call and giving you the correct date we were then informed that our shipment had been held up in Singapore etc etc. While these delays are completely out of our control, you are absolutely entitled to expect updates as and when we are informed of any changes. I am very sorry you did not receive any updates. This is a very poor reflection of our customer service and my explanation above is only to inform you of what happened, not an excuse. I am very pleased that you are enjoying your advent calendar and that it arrived JUST in time. Please accept our sincerest apology for the delay. Warm Regards, Clock Shop Team

The technician I phoned for advice was very knowledgeable and gave me a good understanding of the issues I needed to consider. He also gave me a very prompt email follow up with the relevant costs. The person in the shop (Hayley?) was very helpful and went out of her way to give excellent service.

Holly and Dan at the Clock Shop provided first-class service, and I am thrilled with the product I bought. My initial enquiry was followed up with a prompt call back which gave me all the information I had sought, guided me in choosing the right item, and enabled me to buy via credit card with no fuss. The music box I wanted to buy had a Strauss Waltz mechanism in it, and I asked if it could be changed to Brahm's Lullaby. Holly confirmed that clock-maker Dan could indeed swap the movement over, and we agreed on a modest fee for the extra work. The order was placed Friday afternoon, and the item arrived in Melbourne the following Thursday morning, carefully packaged by people who know how to ship fragile items. The Clock Shop is owned by lovely people who run the business with a customer focus. It is also great to be dealing with an Aussie company, and I am happy to recommend them wholeheartedly.
