Subject: Dissatisfaction with Recent Vanity Purchase Dear Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experience with your company regarding the purchase of a vanity. To give you some context, I ordered a new vanity, and upon delivery, I was disheartened to find that it had been damaged during transit. I understand that shipping incidents can occur, but what was truly disheartening was the subsequent process. It felt like I had to jump through hoops and negotiate to have the damaged vanity replaced, which, in my opinion, should have been a straightforward resolution. The customer service representative I spoke to acknowledged that they had seen the damage in the pictures I provided and were promptly notified about the issue. However, what surprised me was their perspective that the level of damage was acceptable. As a paying customer, I expect to receive a new and undamaged product, without having to argue over its condition. Regrettably, my experience has left me with a bitter taste, and I am now faced with the need to purchase another vanity. Considering the difficulties I encountered with this transaction, I must admit that I am apprehensive about using your company's services again in the future. Arrived on a timely basis. Was very well packaged with no damage. Instructions for installing the sink were great, and the quartz countertop had screw holes preinstalled to make the installation easy. The vanity and countertop look great, very high quality!!

My vanity arrived with some damage to the drawers and VanitiesDepot quickly replaced it after I emailed with pictures. We received the replacement vanity within a week, just in time for installation before we moved in! I love my vanity. Great customer service.

I ordered two vanities from this company. One was beautiful and as pictured. The other was very cheap quality. Quite disappointed at how customer service handled it. There was no apology or offer in exchanging it. Instead, I was told only option to return is to pay $300 for return shipping (the item itself was $840). Just seems absurd and I would never recommend nor order form Vanities Depot again

The vanity seems to be constructed well. I just was a little disappointed in the delivery. The truck left it at the end of my driveway partly in the street w/a damaged box. I had to have my neighbor move it to my garage w/his tractor b/c I could not lift it by myself. Fortunately it was packaged securely and there was no obvious damage.

The shipping was totally screwed up and they tried to send it to her address in Philadelphia or something like that. But I live in California. Still waiting for my replacement. It’s been a few weeks.

Support is terrible and shady. The item I ordered was backordered so I found something else. I tried to cancel the order only to be told it had already shipped. Only thing is I never recieved a shipping confirmation. That seemed odd. A week later I received an email saying it was ready to ship. At this point I was screwed. Now I need to jump through hoops and reject the shipment. Not sure I'll get the $2500 refund anytime soon.

I like the product. It’s much more durable and made with quality materials than the other online retailers like Wayfair or Overstock. HOWEVER…. After ordering I was told it was out of stock and would take a month to arrive. AND…. When i went to order the counter top (which i did separately than the vanity order) I was told that it was out of stock AND discontinued. There was minimal help to order another option or find a solution from a different line within the website, that would work for my vanity I ordered. There was difficulty communicating as I believe the customer service employee had limited English language abilities. I ended up canceling my order and finding the same top elsewhere after a wild goose hunt! It was very inconvenient.

the shipper said they had a semi and couldn't deliver to the house. They had a box truck! They also delivered two vanities stacked on top of each other. Pretty tricky to transport back to home and then get off a trailer. Shipper communication not the best.

I am very disappointed with the ordering process and communications. I ordered a vanity, and in the ordering process had to choose the specific countertop or the option to select "No Countertop." I watched the price change as different countertops made of different materials were selected. I ordered a specific countertop, but when the vanity arrived, it arrived with a backsplash but no countertop. When I attempted to contact Vanities Depot, I would only ever reach voice mail and then get a return voice mail that just stated that I had not ordered or paid for a countertop. No one ever addressed my invoice or screen shots showing how their ordering process made it look clear that a countertop was being ordered along with the vanity. I consider this a bait-and-switch approach, since I ended up having to order a countertop separately, and once that additional cost was factored in, Vanity Depot prices were no longer competitive at all and I could have ordered the item with much less frustration at my local big box hardware store. There was also a serious issue with delivery where the truck driver called me at work and said he was a half hour away but that he couldn't fit his 40ft truck into our neighborhood, and wanted me to get a truck and drive out to meet him to get the vanity delivered. When I asked what other options I would have, he said none-- the item would be returned to the warehouse and we'd have to pay for shipping. Fortunately my contractor was working that day and was able to take his personal truck and complete the delivery, but this is really unacceptable-- we don't live in a remote or difficult area, just a typical suburban neighborhood with cul de sacs. The only reason this review is two stars instead of one is that the actual vanity was high quality and in good shape when it arrived, but I would not work with Vanity Depot again.

I was shopping for a particular style and found it at a significantly lower price here than anywhere else-- that should have been my "buyer beware" moment. When I ordered the vanity, there were choices for "no countertop" and then several assorted colors and materials for the countertop, with different prices changing depending on the countertop/sink selection. I selected the countertop to go with the vanity and my invoice clearly shows that selection. I paid that price, and the vanity arrived without a counter/sink at all. When I called I could not reach anyone on the phone, and I received one callback that said I had not ordered or paid for a countertop. No one has called my back since to explain why I have an invoice that shows a countertop but no countertop is recorded on their side? Sounds like a bait and switch to me, and now I either have to order from them separately or find someway to do a custom countertop and sink locally. On top of that, when delivery was arranged, the driver called me about a half hour before and said that his truck was too big to fit in our neighborhood and he wanted someone to come out with a pick up and meet him and load the items into that truck. My only other option was to have the item returned to the warehouse. This is practically blackmail, and I was fortunate that my contractor was working at the house that day, had his truck with him, and was willing to go out and meet the delivery-- although of course that added time to what I was paying my contractor.

The vanity was exactly as expected. It arrived very quickly with very nice instructions. Definitely feels like a high end purchase on a budget! I recommend vanities depot!

This is my third purchase from Vanities Depot and I always come back because of the excellent service and quality product. I am a fan of James Martin sinks as they look more like a piece of furniture than most other vanities. Excellent craftsmanship!

Color was very different from the pictures. The return policy makes it impossible to return the vanity since one has to pay and arrange for the freight delivery. Not what we wanted at all. The vanity also is not levelled since there is instability in the legs. The contractor will fix it and we will see if it works but overall, a lot of money wasted
