Website needs upgrading, no options for cancellation of policy. Paid in full for a year, policy only in force for 5 months, only receiving less than £10 refund. £55.99 admin fee is rip off! Won't ever use one call again

It took over half an hour to process a change of vehicle, which would have taken 5-10 minutes on the phone. The portal wouldn't allow me to process the change, as the date was 4 days in the future. So, I had to reiterate everything on the live chat, which took over half an hour. It is disappointing that customers can no longer speak verbally over the phone to a real person anymore. It feels like everything regarding my car insurance is unnecessarily laborious and in-personal.

Very poor experience today on the chat to look at changing my insurance due to purchasing a new car. Customer service skills seriously lacking from this person. No "hi" or "hello" at the start of the conversations, just a very terse question. Waited 5 minutes at one time during the chat for a response and had to prompt her to respond. Wasn't interested in keeping my custom with your company, nor willing to try to match with other quotes that I had provided. Very disappointing experience which resulted in me cancelling my policy and moving to another insurance company who were far more customer-oriented. Some lessons to be learnt here. I give this 2 star as I haven't had any issues with my previous several year's insurance policies with this company but the missing 3 stars is because of this very poor experience. Think it might have been a different matter if I could have actually called to make the changes to my policy.

Absolutely shocked at additional cost of changing vehicle. Have been with one call for 10yrs and the additional cost is horrendous

I spoke with KB2. Very helpful and patience person, helps me a lot with the ridiculous rules in One Call. Thank you KB2 you are a star. Unfortunately I can't recommended One Call as a good motor insurance company.

Great price insurance but poor customer service, nobody answers any phones the app and online service is useless you have to pay for any amendments to your policy ie removing a named driver changing address. Will not be renewing

I am disappointed that when my policy came through it excluded commuting when I stated that although retired I had a part time job. I selected SDP and commuting. I had my quote checked by my daughter,who is a motor underwriter, and she agrees commuting was selected. I cannot understand why I have had to pay extra to have this included when it was on my original application.

firstly your advisor gave the wrong information, was abrupt. It's not your choice on how I communicate with the other insurance company. At least she did apologise. I will not be taking out insurance with you or recommending One Call

I received a renewal which had almost doubled so called to query this and review. I have not had any claims at all. I was dealt with by KT/1. She reviewed my details and lowered the renewal quote so I asked for that to be sent through. She didn't send anything through. She did however just send an email saying my new contract was to start on the effective date. No details of the price or cover were ever sent. I called again to query this ands spoke to a male who said he could see what had happened and would send the quite. This never arrived. I sent an email to KT/1 explaining all the above and that due to this I wanted to cancel my renewal. KT/1 just sent email saying I had to call between office hours. I replied to email, again requesting she cancel my renewal but was cut short with an email response referring to previous one and ending with "I cannot communicate about this anymore." Poor customer service. Poor response to contact. Too many mistakes. Certainly won't be renewing and sadly would not recommend based on my experience. I would add that following this review and my email, One Call did call me and apologise and try to better the quote. They did accept that the service did fall below the expected standard and would address any staff training issues. This aspect was managed professionally and apology accepted. They could quite match a comparison site quote however so not renewed.

EK4 was most helpful on chat and processed request quickly. Company charges to cancel are ludicrous. Loyal policy holder for years. Will not be using again

The agent I spoke to was very helpful and for that I would give 5 starts. However, my car is currently being repaired and the car I was provided by the repairer is manual and difficult to manouvre and hence I am not using it. Whan this happened many years ago insurers provided like with like courtesy cars. Our car that is being repaired is top of the range automatic and the least we should have received is an automatic car with easy steering wheele.

I had to start a live chat online because they don’t have a customer service telephone number as an option. The first person ended the chat without answering my query, so I had to speak to another person instead, who dealt with it straight away.
