“Excellent delivery service up to time etc. Food arrived at the point of beginning to defrost. The ice packs had slipped down the sides and food was not as closely insulated as expected. Put into freezer rapidly. Defrosted thoroughly: into fridge the day before and defrosted in kitchen overnight. Cooked in 2 Oven Aga according to online instructions for 5kg weight. The Aga was up to temperature and other foods were cooking normally. However this was too short a time and I had quite a panicky time trying to rescue the situation while everyone was already at table. There was blood oozing from centre and all juices were pink. Ended up slicing the item across the middle and microwaving half for 2 + 1 minutes. Put other half back in top oven of Aga for 40 minutes. That part is still to be eaten but came out lovely and brown surrounded by the right looking juices. The family still enjoyed the 3 bird roast; but I now wish that I had had an (expensive) trial run before the day.”

“The selection of meats in the pack were just right, with a good variety to make a selection of meals. Being able to order far in advance is such a brilliant option. Courier delivery notifications and tracking were easy and without issue.”

“We had the large organic chicken simply roasted last night. It was fantastic! It reminded me how chicken used to taste when I was a child (many moons ago). Back then, chicken was relatively expensive, & a real treat. This is well worth paying more for. Leftovers in a pie for the next 2 nights! Thank you”

“Excellent service. Delivery always very good. Great ethical and ecological concerns. Only improvement I can immediately think of would be if they can find a way to not use plastics as containment directly in contact with food. But this is a general problem not unique to this company. I am confident that they are doing their best to get around that issue.”

“This mince is delicious.. of course cooked 'my way'! However, I had to cook all 6 packets at once as they had started to defrost. The box they came in was spit open and the tape that the courier had used to keep it together hadn't kept it airtight... I have just seen that my complaint went to DPD and they didn't reply.”

“Slightly disappointed that the meat arrived frozen thought it was going to be fresh. Also the burgers, sausages and bacon had started to defrost so couldn’t put in the freezer.”
