“Meat fine but following cooking instructions a mistake. Ended up tough and chewy which could have been avoided by blasting at high temperature initially as you would usually do.”

“Card was declined twice with no explanation. When I called to find out why, CS representative said he would find out and call back. He did not, so I was required to call back 5 hours later. I was then told it was because my Billing Address was in another country, but the system allows you to input this... I then made the purchase over the phone using another card, but because I did not purchase it on the actual website, I received several emails over the subsequent week reminding me that there was something still in my basket, or asking why I hadn't completed my purchase - I received at least one of these a day. However, the item was packaged incredibly well and delivered incredibly fast, which was fantastic!”

“Fast delivery. SOO excited about gluten free sausages that don't contain corn flour. Sadly there is something wrong with the recipe- they are so over salted to the point of being inedible on their own. Mixed with other food they were ok but that is disappointing. Beef shin lovely in slow cooker.”

“I was disappointed in this cut of pork , it did not live up to my expectations, especially the crackling which was not the usual colour I am use to. It tasted acceptable not as good as I had expected. I was also not fond of the pork chipotle sausages.”

“My first order delivery was cancelled on the requested delivery day and there was no update or notification whatsoever. I called them after waiting for more than 24 hours and was told that the bone broths were sold out so they will arrange delivery for the following week. My husband is not impressed and honestly the organic chicken breast is alright. The real organic chicken breast that i used to eat when i was little was much firmer/ dense than this. I just thought they would be different than whats already in the market.”

“Poor customer service...I ordered a half rack of Lamb that is pictured And described as having 4 chops to it ...the one I received had 3 ...this was ordered to serve my self and my husband for our anniversary meal ...call me picky but if the picture shows 4 chops to it and the description says that then I consider it reasonable to expect that this is what I would receive ..I emailed to share my disappointment at only getting 1 chop whilst my husband gets 2 and the company sent their apologies that this had 'slipped past quality control' and confirmed that yes the description and photo shows 4 ribs and by way of an apology gave me a code for 10% off my next order ....well gee whizz!.. I'm a not certain how the the company comes to the conclusion that agreeing that the product does not match the picture or the description equals 10% off a further order taking a pot luck chance of receiving something that does match what you order ....well I'm afraid it's a no from me ...this was only my second order and my faith in the goods has taken a blow so I shall return to shopping in store where I can see what I am getting .....note...I work in a customer environment and if as a company you want to grow your customer base and retain your customers you need to Resolve any problems that arise not feed back transparent apologies and future discounts ...I did not want money off my next order all I wanted was the product I ordered in good faith to be correct or be replaced Julie”

Hi Julie, You have raised an interesting issue here that we will look to address. Lambs (Organic or conventional) are born with 7 ribs. Which means that creating half racks leaves us with a conundrum. Whilst the weight of meat that we guarantee with the half rack is always the same, the number of ribs in the rack will differ between 4 and 3. You are quite right to draw this discrepancy on the site to our attention, and we will amend the site accordingly. Customer Service is very important to us. So we will call you again today to see if we can resolve this differently. I hope you enjoyed the taste of the half rack?
