“First time I’ve bought from Coombe but really impressed with the sausages. They’re not pumped full of water so they don’t shrink when you cook them, which is great.”

“I found the delivery was simple, and efficient. The contents were visibly of high quality and and when cooked the taste was outstanding. My only observation was that the rolled boneless lamb joint took longer than anticipated to cook, and was a little more fatty than we enjoy. The lamb flavour was still exceptional regardless of the fat content.”

“It's nice to buy organic meat direct from the producer and the meat is always high quality. My only problem is the packaging. The ice packs should be returned and reused. I hate that I am putting the contents down the drain (it's not water for sure) and then putting the bags out for dubious recycling. The boxes I put in my compost heap which isn't so bad. Other box systems reuse their packaging so it is possible.”

“Well it’s been a journey… we ordered a Yeo Valley box and it came with most of the contents defrosted, not sure where the problem in the chain is, possibly DPD? That said it was delivered at 15:30 so I am not sure how they expect a frozen box to stay frozen for at least 24 hours. Maybe it should be on a morning delivery. A few calls later the lovely Danielle ordered us a new box perfect. Friday came and no box a few calls and emails and apologies and ordered again for the following Friday. Box came result but again half of it was defrosted same delivery time 15:30. We tried to eat some of the produce, the burgers smelled funny but on a positive the sausages and chicken were lovely. This is probably not the fault of Combe Farm but may I suggest you book an earlier delivery time for frozen food as it does not arrive in a refrigerated van, just a normal DPD delivery. Thanks for all your help with this.”

“Ordered beef joints and steaks and Barnsley chops. All arrived beautifully packed and still frozen solid. Beef and steaks cooked superbly and tasted great with minimal shrinkage. Never had lamb Barnsley chops before, what a superb meal!”

“Haven’t tried all of our order yet, mostly sausages. What we have has been excellent flavour. Lamb & mint, Pork & cider were both very tasty. Delivery came on time as requested. Not our first order, we have never been disappointed.”
