βQuality products at good products but they drive me nuts moving their inventory all over the store. I shop at Costco regularly, and though they promote moving their goods as to be on a treasure hunt, I donβt have the time to be on a treasure hunt every time I shop there. What use to be a pleasant and welcomed experience has turned into frustrations and stressfulness. Even the Costco employees donβt know where the products are located and state they are just as upset as I am.β
βCostco has great stuff but recent policy changes are making it not worth it. If I give my daughter, who lives in my house my Costco card, she should be able to shop for me. Requires more trips and wasted time by me into town when other members of my family are already there. Offer more cards or help with this issue. It is too restrictive.β
βBring back plastic containers for rotisserie chicken. The chicken does not taste the same, it's is the plastic bags. They are greasey and slimey. It leaks in refrigerator, can't put anything on top of slimey bag. Can't cut chicken or shred in bag, so dirty dish. You are only doing this to cut your costs. Can't recycle bag, can recycle plastic. Again Chicken tastes off and is slime. Why don't you listen to you customers?β
βBeen an executive member for 16 years and upon returning a makeup mirror worth $30 I got yelled at by the lady at customer service if I had use it. I calmly said I did open it so Iβm returning it because itβs not bright enough. I was so embarrassed there was a long line behind me and people heard her. Iβm not sure if I can tolerate that kind of attitude again but I can guarantee you I wonβt be as nice as I was. Another thing, we decided to downgrade our membership before it expires next year. I donβt see any reason why pay more for membership if everyone has to get in the same long line anyway.β
β**Disappointed with Costco's Wholegrain Triangle Bread**
I have been a loyal Costco customer since 2018, primarily buying their wholegrain triangle bread. However, in the past 1-2 months, I've noticed a significant change in the bread. Each piece is now smaller, yet the weight remains the same. This suggests that more water has been added to the recipe to maintain the weight while reducing the size.
This change has also impacted my health. I have a sensitive stomach, and this bread used to be one of the few that didn't cause me any issues. Recently, however, it has started to bother my stomach, likely due to the altered recipe.
.While I didn't count the pieces before, the difference is noticeable and affects the value and quality of the product. Unfortunately, I am now considering alternative options due to this disappointing change.β
βCostco should open for executive members by 830AM, and really if we could get a 730AM would be better! No one has time to be waiting around by 10 AM to get in. People work! Staff at m local warehouse I can count on 1 hand the nice people. Forget the desk people. Not friendly or nice at all.β
βOnce again products are not of quality. Paper towels don't tear off because of poor quality control. I joined for the meat but the quality is not what costco used to have and it's been disappointing. Sorry I couldn't not attach photos.β
βFor the most part Costco has great mercandice including food however, do not buy their fish oysters. They ate cut up pieces of oysters that look like whole one in the jar. Totally a rip off please beware of this product for sure.β
βI love shopping at Costco but I was very disappointed tonight at approximately 5:30 p.m. to see only three full checkouts open when the store was packed with long lines. I understand that most Monday nights are probably not that crowded but it is the week of Thanksgiving and Black Friday savings. There were multiple full service checkouts that were closed. There was a lady encouraging people to do self checkout but I am not going to do self-checkout when I'm spending over $900 at one time. The member service is lacking.β
βI was at checkout and was approached by a gentleman who told me my account was flagged for an upgraded membership. He began speaking to me while checking out and interrupted my ability to check my total bill and have any interaction with the person checking me out. He then continued without allowing me to leave the check out area. I initiated moving my cart out of the checkout area and he continued. I then initiated moving my cart out of the line of traffic as he continued to talk to me there.
I felt I was being accosted and coerced into upgrading my membership. I was taken to customer service and was told that I didnβt get back even the amount of the difference in membership costs. The person who initially approached me stated that they βusuallyβ refund the difference in memberships if I do not spend enough.
I was very disappointed in this encounter.β

Rabate money is my money.
There should be a way to request a direct deposit directly into my bank account. Or, I should be able to request a check.
But no, I have to drive in and go to the front desk to cash a rebate in. Holly Cow! what if I lived a hundred miles away and needed MY cash? I've put up with this for years and swallowed my complaints.
Today (5/15/2021), I went in to cash MY rebate, and Costco's policy has changed. Now you have to go all the way into the store and buy something to use it. Even the employees think it's stupid and told me to buy something inexpensive, and the cashier will give me back the remainder of MY money in change.
What Costco rebates are beginning to amount to are loyalty discounts on Costco purchases.
When I received my few hundred dollars in change, I went back to the front desk and asked if they would exchange all the twenties for hundred dollar bills. They wouldn't even do that.
For the first time in years, I'm considering shopping elsewhere. I might sell all my stock also.β
βOrdered wine but they took much longer than teh advertised 3 working days and did not keep me inforned of progress. Their website is painfully slow.β
