“This company is cheap and dírty!
I saw this shoe site on instagram and thought I'll give them a try because I needed comfy shoes.
When my shoes finally arrived a few weeks later, I went to try them on, and they were gigantic. The size 7s were way loose, enough for me to fit my whole hand inside with my foot. I have pics and emails for everything in my review. The boots I ordered up half a size because they were narrow and the site literally told me to. They were extremely long and big as well. So I contacted the company to see if I could return them after looking how the shoe was made. I had no desire to do an exchange. This maker obviously doesn't make shoes for people with a normal size foot.
Shawn emailed me back and told me I could either have a new size sent for no cost and no shipping, but if I wanted a refund that I'd have to pay the shipping fees. Well, I spent $176.80 on those shoes and decided to return them even though the shipping cost was $53.46. The lady at the postal store couldn't believe they made me pay to return the items considering they have corporate accounts and get dicounts on shipping 🙄 but they put it back on the consumer because they're cheap and don't want too lose a sale. Despicable!
Here's where it gets good. No where in the emails does it state they keep any fees. So tell me why they only refunded me $41.65? I'm currently out a total of $188.61, and I have not a single thing to show for it. No shoes, nothing!
Stay away from this company at all cost they don't care who they scrèw over to make money.”
“Cody Island shoes complete scam! Shoes can weeks late, quality terrible and biggest scam of all you can not get return information from the company to send them back. It is an insult to consumers everywhere to be fooled into purchasing from this company. Made in China does not appear anywhere on their advertising. I saw them on Instagram STAY AWAY. “This company is out of China. Their shoes come sized incorrectly and with an awful chemical odor to them. Their return policy has a long list of what they aren’t willing to accept in a return, and lo and behold, they don’t accept anything back with an odor. They’ve tried negotiating a partial refund with me, and I absolutely refuse. I reached out immediately after receiving the shoes which took forever to get, and my dispute still isn’t resolved with the credit card company, and it’s been since April that I made my purchase. Horrible, horrible customer service, and I have the emails to prove it.”
“Beware this is a Chinese Scam! I ordered shoes over a month ago. They told me the shoes were delivered to my front porch. They were not. Now they’re telling me that I can pick them up in a locker somewhere, but they don’t have an address and they’re not responding to my emails”

“This company is a complete scam! I bought a pair of sneakers and they were so cheap and poorly made. When I requested a refund, I was told they would give me a big discount if I wanted to keep them, or donate. I replied no I won’t a refund minus the $9.00 shipping fee. I then get a reply they will give me a 10% discount. I once again replies that I want a refund and still no satisfaction! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY”
“I bought a pair of shoes with the description leather. They were not leather. Although this company says no questions ask return policy, they do ask. The will then proceed to pay " let's make a deal" in order for you to return them. They only want to give you a percentage of the money back even if you request a shipping label telling them you don't eat it. They claim they are moving and don't have a way of restocking the item, so you will a credit for 10,15 or 30 percent. They don't care about doing right by the customer.”

“The rugs they sell are paper thin as others have mentioned, they are nothing like what was advertised on their website. The print is flaky too. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Their returns is a joke- you need to return the product to Singapore or take 30% refund.”
“Very happy with these curtains. For the price, I expected them to be shear, but they ended up being the perfect thickness. They let some light through but not enough so that people can see into your place. They're beautiful at night or in the morning when there's light behind them because it illuminates the mountain gradient. They do feel like a cheaper material curtain but to me it's not a big deal because it looks nice. Overall very happy with this purchase, great price for what you get, and shipping was very fast.”
“Scam company. I ordered a beautiful rug and they sent me a thin, cheap towel. Do NOT order from this company. PayPal sent my refund. So glad I ordered using PayPal. In the photo, the left photo is what I ordered and the right photo is the towel-like thing they sent me. Unbelievable.”
“Wow, sure wish I would have read these reviews first. However, super happy I used Paypal. Ordered a huge tassle custom rug Oct 2, and USPS says they got the pallet it "was" on but it wasnt on it. Only listed on the paperwork and appears to be the case from the get go. The emails were not customer focused. And not helpful.”
