“Absolutely avoid !!!
Tried to get a tv from currys and was advertised this financial plan...gave it a go, got approved and had to activate the account so i can make a purchase. Tried and tried many times to activate it, always giving a 404 error. And no customer service to help, nothing. Gave up on this and got my tv from somewhere else. Though that well i didn't activate the account and didn't place any order, should be all fine. No ! After 3 months, they have placed a direct debit on my account, for £38.02 per month... for whaaat ?! Reading all this reviews, i know this will be a long and draining process, with a ruined credit score !!! How can this be legal ??! This needs reporting”
“I've been a victim of identity theft. So the annoying thieving mongoloid used my details to buy a product under my name and address at Currys. Now I'm getting harrased by Creation Finace to pay money on a loan I don't own! It's affected my credit score and my mental wellbeing.
I've tried calling them, I get hung up on after 30 minutes of waiting and they haven't even responded to any of my emails!
I don't know what to do at this stage, but all I know is that I want it to stop..”
“I have just taken out 12 months interest free loan with Creation, for a TV I bought at Currys. Despite numerous to and fro emails with Creation, I have been unable to activate my account. I have a direct debit which I didn't authorize. I have tried to pay the whole amount off to end the whole saga but my bank won't recognise the company. Extremely stressfull and worrying time. I went to Currys today and they more or less said, nothing to do with us anymore!”
“AVOID!! This used to be a great credit card company to use especially for travel. Sadly no longer reliable or useful. Even with contact from me letting them know i was going on holiday and would be using my cc as the billing card - even letting them know the exact places and companies that I'm using and dates of my vacation, card is still declined for no reason. As others have said in their reviews, my balance has always been cleared and never missed any payments. This is the problem i think, they only want customers who make them money by not paying off their bill and racking up interest.”

I had a credit card with them for 10+ years; everything was fine until the last 3 years when the following happened...
Credit card was constantly blocked but they couldn't explain why when I called.
My credit limit was cut by thousands of pounds, this time they refused to explain why.
My account was then blocked online (I couldn't log in to see my balance). I called to ask why, they said it was because I 'had been in arrears, but I wasn't any more'. As you've probably guessed by now, I had not been in arrears.
I finally asked them to close my account.
Sadly this is no longer a useful company, and getting involved will them will waste your time and cause you stress.”
“Do not use this company been waiting for over 2 weeks for a refund still nothing been done and nothing added on account can see me taking this further”
“Waiting over 30 mins all the time. Nothing has been resolved. I’ve emailed them too, 48 hours later still no reply and the issue is still ongoing. I took out 1 Finance option but for some reason I am getting billed for 2 separate loans. None of them are taking ownership of the situation and being passed from one company to the other. Worst mistake I’ve ever made going with this company. The sad part is, I’m still getting debited for a loan that I’ve never signed up too. If I cancel my DD they will leave a marker on my credit file so I’m pretty much stuck paying them. Which is impacting my livelihood. I will complain to FCA to get this issue resolved ASAP.”
“Please avoid this company... Told in the soft search likely to be approved, put in the application, signed the credit agreement, set up the direct debit. Told had been approved credit. Made a creation account, then tried to make a new purchase through the creation website and get a broken 404 error message, tried to purchase on Currys, but then told to check details, then submit and confirm application and unbeknown to me it puts through another credit application when trying to pay by my £3000 credit, then this says declined, even though on the screen it shows what credit limit I have to spend. I try again later to purchase and again get a declined message. Spend nearly 40 minutes waiting to get through to a creation customer advisor to be told I was approved but then after initial checks was declined(was it declined because it had put the application through twice after initially offering me credit I don't know).
Please do not waste your time using this company. I'm now going to take legal advice on this matter, as this company will have now knackered my credit score(for when I do want to use finance to fund a purchase in future, if I ever do after this scenario..). So a waste of time trying to buy anything from Currys. I won't be using currys anymore either, as they advertise this company for credit, feel lied to and mislead by both of these companies. Please avoid.”

Sadly there are no negative stars you could give. The worst company I have dealt with in my entire life. After signing the contract they have change the terms of the contract and bullied to pay more money. Avoid!!! Please do not make this mistake.
Any reviews with 5 stars should be taken with the pinch of salt. You could never understand what cowboys they are until you deal with them. They lie to your face, send threatening letters, but do not answer to the letters that are sent as an evidence to show their lies and cons.”
“This must be the only company that when you pay your bills (your plan) regularly and on time then they cut your credit in half because your not using it to it's full potential I mean who can afford to spend two thousand pounds every couple of months I currys i ask you it's ridiculous”
“I have been harassed by Curry's and Creation for months for money I do not owe. I even have an order cancellation email from them!
You can't get anyone on the phone. Had to go in store twice and be ignored and waste hours of time listening to hold music to be hung up on by bots.
Both of these 'PARTNERS' refuse to accept responsibility but my credit rating is still damaged by their miscommunication. They also can't be bothered to do anything about it.
BACKGROUND
The reason I ordered from them in the first place was because I was mislead to believe an order could be collected same day or day after. Once a financial agreement was set up I was told a week, so I cancelled it. Am currently still being harassed by Creation and Currys for money I do not owe on products I never received. I am anxious and miserable because of it and just want to be left alone.”
“Credit card - absolutely useless customer services, 3 or 4 times whilst working away, have had payment blocked during weekend, closed on Sundays, - Monday mornings waiting up to 58 mins to speak to someone to get unblocked to use for food and hotels ?? - most disinterested people I have ever dealt with answer the phone. As IHG hotels have left Creation leaving just an ordinary, no rewards credit card, just paid off full amount, as usual - had to wait almost half an hour to tell them I wanted to leave - gone back to First Direct, made 3 customer service calls, waited maximum 4 mins, someone answered almost immediately and apologised for the fact you may have to wait up to 5 minutes”
“I have been trying to contact them for over six months to inform them that the former tenants moved out since last year but to no avail. Impossible to contact. They continue to waste time and resources sending out letters only for me to have to return them.”
“An awful company with no access to customer service. I notified them before travelling with location and date. After a couple of days they blocked the card with no access to payment method with family on tow. Sent them message but no replies. Tried calling from abroad for several hours with the music playing for 3 hours every day but nobody picks up the call. Either man the phone or atleast reply to emails or messages. They do neither leaving you with a card that does not work despite having £14000 available to spend. Definitely one to cancel.”

Cancelled an order with Currys the same day it was made. Creation have harassed me for over a month with daily messages, emails and phone calls chasing me. I have sent them the confirmation from Currys multiple times to show the order has been cancelled and that a product was never received.
They then tried to take money from my account without permission, thankfully my bank stopped this.
I have been on the phone to them to solve this for so long I feel like I should be paid for the time. This is pure incompetence. I was also told “your problem is with Currys” and are asking me to fix this for them with Currys.
I am still working with my bank to resolve the effect on my credit rating.”
