“The Passionfruit And Pistachio Cake I ordered was too sweet, but the cake was well made.”

“Great looking website with careful packaging and courteous delivery. However, the mixed mini brownies (both vegan and non vegan) were not mini and were very big. They could have been half the size. They tasted OK but were very similar in flavour. The mixed vegan mini cupcakes were delicious, moist and the perfect size but we wished there had been more citrus and berry flavours as they all tasted chocolatey and were therefore similar again in flavour. I wasn't able to leave a review via the website directly and had to wait a while before being invited to by email from the company.”

“This is my second time ordering however this time I felt that it was very sweet and we couldn’t eat all of it. Sadly not our cup of tea anymore. However with those who like sweet cakes it would be up their alley”

“Last year a vegan chocolate fudge cake was really delicious but this year, I was very disappointed. I ordered a summer berry cake and mini cupcakes...They were way too sweet and some of them were hard as well.”

“Great idea with the tasting box, arrived promptly. Not sure if it was because we didn't eat it right away (2 days later), however, the cakes tasted oily which was a shame as the flavours would've been wonderful.”

Hi , Thanks for your review. Unfortunately to add a message to the cake you would need to have added our personalised disc option at checkout. I can see you added a gift message and this would of been on a gift card within the plastic sleeve of your packaging . Kind regards, C&S

“Unfortunately the cake arrived 4 days late and went straight into the bin. Whilst I accept there were issues with the courier, left disappointed nonetheless at the outcome. I purchased the cake for my wife's birthday so that she could enjoy something special whilst she was self-isolating due to COVID. On a positive note Cutter and Squidge responded promptly to my complaint and made a full refund.”

“Came arrived promptly an d in a nice storage tin. However it was too sweet for my taste - could only taste sugar and little else. Cake lasted me almost a week with a daily slice with my coffee - however had to discard one ski e as found hold growing on cream filling. Found it expensive and would not but again. Sorry”

We do include details about the sizes of our products in the “Let’s Talk Flavours” section of the product description. The cake should also be served at room temperature at which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. “Delivery was great the driver waited as id just popped out to the shop. The cake was beautiful and exactly how I had hoped however I had a few people note that the cake was quite bland unfortunately and I have to agree it looked incredible but didn't have a great flavour which was quite disappointing.”

“I will be super honest in my review. So We needed a naked buttercream cake which this shop can provide. Good prices and good quantity for my small wedding. We then had a major hiccup with the liability form which the hotel refused to sign. We struggled to get in touch with someone from their customer team via email and phone until I made a big review on google and they then emailed me. They clarified their reasons and I was left with one option which is to sign the form myself and take responsibility for the food they are making. That stressed me out but I worked it out. the cake was delivered in timely manner (driver sent a message and phoned) and was okay tasting. It was not anything spectacular. which to be fair at that point I just wanted a cake to be served to my guests. So I would say 1. customer service can be improved- especially their email reply system. 2. cake option/prices delivery: good. 3. Cake quality: Okay but not amazing. thanks”
