“Website problems when ordering meant I had to ring customer service. Tiny selection of cakes available for delivery (outside London) , not the selection shown online. All in all frustrating experience. Wildly expensive too”

“I choose the pistachio and passion fruit cake, I liked the presentation of the cake, it was very cute but the taste unfortunately was bad. We couldn’t even eat it, we had to throw away the rest of the cake. I had such hight hopes for it. The delivery was on time and the cake was packed very well”

“Mixed biskies were excellent as always however the macaron drip cake I ordered was disappointing, it looked beautiful however the sponge and buttercream lacked any real flavour. Stick to the biskies in future.”

“Cake was nice. I paid extra for delivery in set window but it was delivered hours before. When I fed back to them they offered my a gift card for £7.50 that only lasted a few weeks. Disappointing when you spend £160+ on a cake.”

“First time ordering from you due to my daughter's cows milk and soya allergy. Cake arrived promptly and packaged well. Cake looked amazing and icing tasted great, however unfortunately the sponge cake itself was very dry and don't feel it was very fresh. Which was such a shame, my daughter had one slice but it was just not edible. Gutted as we heard such good things about your company and shared with my 14k followers on Instagram. I however did not share our disappointment, as I wanted to feedback to yourselves first before sharing negativity, as we may have been unlucky. “Beautiful presentation. A lovely looking cake. Alas the flavours and textures were not as good as the appearance. Claggy. Disappointing considering the cost. Will stick to Waitrose vegan next time at 1/4 of the price.”

“My issue is with delivery of the Brownies. I received a random picture of someone receiving the item , no idea who that was. The box was rammed through the letter box & they were all squashed . They had been advised to leave outside the front door. I had let you know , shortly after the delivery date but never had a response .”

“Good service. Order delivered as described. Kept customer informed at all stages. Needed a keep cool item in product as item had melted and spoilt in transit. Afternoon Tea at Home product not worth money. Contrast to husbands earlier order for my birthday lemon cake which was perfect!”

“The cake was tasty and appreciated when it was eaten but the courier C&S use was pretty dire, no way to pick the delivery time, left it at a pickup location - their choice not mine - that the recipient couldn’t get to for days. Only for that reason, I won’t be buying for delivery again. Which is a real shame, TBH.”
