“A welcome birthday present.Cakes lovely. Wasn’t as keen on scones needed to be very warm to be soft. Difficult when you adding cream / jam. A couple of savoury touches be nice. I would order from you again.”

“Forgot my Prosecco In the original delivery which meant a late picnic. The red velvet cake tasted like vinegar and brownies were stale. Usually a fan of cutter and Squidge but you guys went wrong for valentines I’m afraid.”

“The cake itself was lovely but the delivery the communication regarding delivery was not, I was only given 7 mins warning prior to delivery which meant I missed it and meant the cake did not arrive in time for the occasion.”

“The cake was tastey but it didn’t arrive until 7.30pm and I was planning to take it out to dinner with us for my friend so that wasn’t possible. So we weren’t actually able to enjoy the cake on her birthday”

“tried C&S on recommendation. excellent to deal with, lovely selection of cakes, delivery spot on, *really* impressed by the packaging & tin, presentation etc but.... the cake / icing itself (bakewell) was just so intensely overwhelmingly sweet it was difficult to enjoy. would probably try another as there's so much else to like, just a pity that on this occasion the rather key component - flavour - was just off.”

“Very cute packaging. Great selection but some of them lacked flavour. For example the pistachio ones didn't have much pistachio flavour. Was a bit disappointed as pistachio is our fave flavour and was hoping they would be good. The chocolate ones were very rich chocolate flavour. If not on the leaflet explaining the flavours we would not be able to pick some of the flavours out which was a bit of a miss really.”

“I ordered the yuzu mango cake for my sister's birthday and I was disappointed with the cake. The sponge was dense and butter cream icing was hard. I left it in room temperature for the recommended time and longer but it didn't seem to make any difference. I was happy with the selection of cakes box. Very delightful and I wanted more. It put me off ordering large cakes online.”

“Good quick service and delivery on required date. Shame to not have anything savoury being an afternoon tea and also as my mum couldn’t eat one of the ingredients would have been great to be able to swap one product.”

“We ordered the mini brownie selection box and were sadly disappointed :-( we felt all the brownies tasted the same pretty much and they were also a bit dry. I’ve had loads of friends recommend cutter and squished so we were really excited, I’d even bought it for lots of friends myself before trying on those recommendations. Sadly we weren’t particularly impressed.”

“*update: they rang me today out of the blue to apologise for The courier delay and their customer service mistakes. Gave me a full refund. The cake was delicious. Had it arrived on time, it would be 5 Star The cake arrived 4 hrs late after the party had finished. With a very upset little girl. Customer service was impossible to get hold of on the day. They replied to my email 3 days later and refused to refund me for the useless cake. They did refund the delivery cost which was immaterial. The credit card claim against them is still ongoing. The small slice I tried was delicious, but don’t expect it to be there when you need it.”
