“Bought a 20k power bank which only charges my phone for 5 mins at a time then I have to turn the power bank back on to continue charging. Will never buy cygnett again”

“I bought the ORANGE Coloured Power Bank. CY4506PBCHE directly from Cygnett. It charged up on the first charge to 100% and there it stays. It does not charge my phone from the USB points but it did from the USBC point once. I have has it for 2 months. I have sent Cygnett an email asking for a replacement & am waiting for a reply. There is a phone number but it is constantly engaged. I must admit I am worried I have wasted my money.”

“I bought this Wireless charger - and it does not seem to work. I put the phone on the charger and it does not charge. The charger is an ExoCharge Wireless Desk. Item number CY3450PPWIR. Can you please help as I am at work and the phone is already showing 60%.”

“bought a product order number CY5916UK pre ordering i asked if they had a charger for my macbook, they said 'this is the best one' in fact the next week they released the one i rrequired, lead me to believe i was being miss informed. i was then given incorrect information on 3 emails, and lead to believe they would send me the required one ( as long as i paid over the top ) obfuscation and confusing emails from this company. would i do more business? = no. this is my experience and my honest review of this company.”

“My wife had a very frightening experience with a Cygnett USBA -USBC cable in her car when not in use. When driving she noticed a fire-type smell which quickly turned into significant smoke coming from the central console. Luckily there was nothing else in the console so she quickly removed it to find that it unfortunately it had been draped into the console such that the USBC plug was vertically sitting on the mat at the bottom of the console, and it had burnt a hole through the mat. The cable was only 2 years old and had been hardly used as it was for my phone in her car which I rarely drive. I want to bring it to the attention of Cygnett but it is impossible to call, email etc. From my 50 years experience in the electricity industry it is obvious that the plug must have had an internal fault for it to overheat and catch fire when not in use, and therefore would not want to nre[lace it with the same product.”
