“Date style completely lived p to my expectations. They were extremely professional and gave me advice throughout the day and the whole process really. The big let down for me was that I was unsuccessful. They did explain everything to me and gave me great feedback and overall it was a good experience and I’ve learnt a lot. I get that people are wary with this industry but studios are there to help us with pictures and then we use them to take to studios. “My shoot was about 3 weeks ago now. Everything seemed great on the day but I had held off from writing anything because I assumed it is probably a yes for everyone. The pictures were to a great standard so me and my partner decided to buy them, even just for ourselves. I sent them on to the places that the aftercare team told me to (a department I didn’t expect them to have, thought it’d just be a phone number with no answer at the other end) and I have actually seen some results! Declined from the first agency but now signed to two and have started going to castings.”
“Before booking my shoot I had read a lot of posts with warnings about test shoots and to not buy a portfolio but having done more research about Date Style they sounded a lot more trustworthy than other companies. It turned out my research was well founded. They were really up front with me about the fact that I would be offered the chance to buy pictures if I was successful but it wasn’t compulsory and my report would still go back to the platform. I had many conversations on the phone with them before the shoot and shared with them my concern about portfolios and they were honest and said there are many models who do not need to buy a portfolio but is only High end stuff, which most, including myself, are not. I was successful in my test which I was really excited about and on seeing the pictures and quality of the shots I decided to take a small portfolio and has launched me into the world of modelling, I’ve signed to 4 different agencies! (as well as rejected from 3 Lol!)”

“I would’ve given 5 stars bevause would have like to be there for longer! The shoot was supposed to take 4 hours and I was only there for 2. The shoot was so much fun and from my point of view, crazy professional. The makeup artists were using products that I’ve seen in only specialist shops and are £££. Heaven for me!”
