Extremely happy with my T Van

Great showroom, being undercover is great all year round. Easy access location too. But the service was poor. This was the 2nd van we purchased from them and we paid big money and had our van custom built. No communication, updates on progress, nothing. The only time I heard from anyone was if I called them. This was a very exciting time for my husband and I and the day we went to collect our brand new custom built van we got a grunt from the counter. No one even congratulated us on what was a very exciting day for us.

We have bought 2 caravans from Dave Benson Caravans and they were most helpful in enabling the sale of the first one so we could buy the second. After sales service has been great and all our issues were corrected as required with a minimum of fuss. Would look to them to buy or third van as well!!

When we purchased our new essential caravan from Dave Benson Caravan, they were very professional and extremely helpful in both the setting up and handover. Great people to deal with and service department is also great to deal with. Overall if I was going to buy another caravan I would certainly look at dealing with the Dave Benson team for sure. Worst so called customer service we have ever seen. Lied to by staff members. Happy to advise whilst travelling around Australia we are spreading the word and sharing our horrendous experience with all. So far you have lost out on 2 new caravan deals so far. Just bought a new car and maybe you could learn about customer service from them as it is seriously lacking in all areas with your company. Managed to get the warranty work completed interstate and the manufacturer was not aware of any issues when we were told that your company was awaiting approval. Hard to get approval when they have not been told. Just another fail. Always good to have staff members fight in front of customers. You must be very proud of your sales staff and because of him would never use your company again. Would love to put zero stars however it will not allow it. When management advised of poor sales staff (staff arguing in front of customers) was swept under the carpet and shoulders shrugged. Even when they were told that the staff member was not to contact me and we would be dealing with someone else he continued. Happy to keep spreading the word.

I was told my new van would take 5 months to build! It took over 7 months and when I rang up to find out where it was the salesman thought it was a joke! When I took it back for warranty work nothing was done!! I have just returned from a WA trip and l had nothing but trouble with wheels and a fridge problem. I have been dealing with lotus directly to sort things out. Will never again

Service dept. Very good! No complaints so far! Sales dept. Were no so good! Defects on our van was not checked by Dave Benson before handover,hitch was not ready either! Sales dept. didn't seem to communicate with service dept.

What's the point at time of getting built, service was absolutely disgusting, rude and non existence and by what others have told us on line nothing changed.

Couldn’t of been happier with the service from Sean @ Dave Benson Caravans From the moment we showed interest in our C class ,he put together a video on our van as we where in Melbourne We purchased the van on the Monday morning and a few weeks later we had the van delivered to our door in Melbourne Very Happy Andy and Kat Grant

Very friendly staff. Always ready to help as best they can. However, internal systems seem to be .missing or a breakdown in the lines of communication. In some instances the customer is talking to the wrong person on the phone (who does their best to satisfy the enquiry) but the customer believes that they lack product knowledge or company procedures. Our examples:- TV..NO SIGNAL. We were unaware of Booster in cupboard above stove for a week. No "pillow" for dining table (colours?included as std?) Annexe not ready at hand over. But 2 anti-flap kits supplied. No lights working on our first dry run.......eventually identified black master switch. Defrost that brand of fridge ( advised by fellow camper). Commencement date of storage? BUT WE LOVE THE VAN. As above, the staff ALWAYS FRIENDLY. CHEERS

While happy with the service and the caravan itself, we believe the trade-in deal was unfair bordering on dishonest. We were given a $3000 trade-in with the assurance that at least $1500 needed to be spent on it, say a total cost to DBC of $5000. Then we saw it advertised for almost $12000, so you can see how we felt ripped off when we had asked for $5000!

Worst delivery ever, no one had a clue amd the Service Centre is a disaster on so many levels. We have sold the van since our purchase and will never deal with this Company again

Well now you would like a review, OK, I am happy with the roadstar caravan, but i am not happy that toilet does not flush and I am not happy that the fridge does not run on gas , as I live in my caravan , being a bushfire victim from Kangaroo Island, the two things that do not work which are important, it took almost a month to two months to pick up the roadstar caravan and toilet won't flush and gas won't run the fridge, I have let you know, and nothing has been done about the problem, I am now living in Yulara starting a new beginning with caravan no toilet to flush and fridge that doesn't work gas , these things should have been checked and sorted or fixed before the caravan left the showroom , so Dave Benson Caravans that's my review, I think you should contact myself and explain and rectify the problems at your expense.
