“Flowers were delivered a day early and we're very poor quality were dying by the date they were due to be delivered I emailed and after 4 days of waiting on a response I had to call was offered new flowers and free chocs I asked for a full refund which they agreed to but no compensation. Very poor customer service . Left me quite embarrassed and an elderly lady disappointed. Never again”

“I ordered flowers for my mother for Mothering Sunday which were delivered on Saturday 5th March. They arrived dishevelled and looking the worse for wear. The next day which was Mothers Day they were thrown away. So im really not happy. I tried to call customer services on Monday to inform them but was held in a queue for a ridiculous amount of time, after calling for the third time I decided to email them Today is Wednesday and I haven't had a respone.”

“Awful service. I paid extra to have flowers delivered to my mother on Mother's day. I received an email the night before saying that they had been dispatched. However, on Mother's Day I received another email saying that they were being delayed and wouldn't be delivered until the following day! I spent a very long time on the phone on Sunday trying to get through to someone to cancel the order, but couldn't get through on any customer service number. I tried to leave a message via the contact form online, but this just bounced straight back to my inbox. I have also tried to make contact via Facebook but keep getting the same message that someone will contact me. I certainly won't be ordering flowers from Debenhams again.”

“Flowers looked battered, half dead at the door, lollies never flowered and there were only 3 roses. Wrote a complaint and was asked for pictures, sent pictures and now a week later still haven't heard back. Very disappointing as they were sent for my mums birthday and I live in Australia. I just want her to get some nice flowers..... Will debenams help??? Still waiting!”

“The order came on time so I'm happy for that. The flowers that came, 3 of them died within 8 hours. It's a bit unacceptable to pay £25 for a pot of flowers, and then for 2 of them to die so quickly. I won't be ordering from Debenhams flowers again.”

“The flowers turned up nice and early in the morning, so was very pleased, they were nice but I didnt feel they really did justice compared to the photo online where they did look a lot fuller and nicer.”

“I ordered 2 bouquets of flowers for Mother's Day to be delivered on the Saturday to my mother in Belfast and my mother in law in Plymouth. Whilst the Plymouth flowers arrived on time, my mothers did not get to her until the Monday. I (and my mother) was very disappointed. I am 8000 miles away working in the Falkland Islands and haven't seen her for 8 months. I rely on timeliness and efficiency when I order gifts for special occasions so that she knows I am thinking of her. This is the second occasion that I have ordered flowers for my mother and mother in law from Debenhams and twice now I have had issues. Albeit customer services have redeemed themselves, I will think twice about ordering flowers from here again.”

“The flowers were lovely, but although I paid extra to have them delivered in the morning, they did not arrive until 1.30. There were no free chocolates either. Asking for the early delivery was for a reason, as the recipient was heading out for the day at 12.30. Very disappointed.”

“I ordered two mother's Day bouquets for my mother and mother in law. I was very disappointed in the presentation and condition of the flowers. They were wilting and falling apart when they arrived. They both commented on the lack of flowers and the poor quality.”
