Flowers not delivered on time, receiving various messages about delivery on different days. The person receiving the flowers received 2 deliveries ????

The flowers were ordered for my Mother's birthday and I paid for next day delivery. I received an email on the evening of her birthday to say they hadn't been delivered, too late for me to do anything about it. This was on a Friday evening and I was given a customer service number I could ring the following Monday. They sent them the next day and said they would refund the delivery cost which still hasn't been refunded. Another bunch turned up on the Sunday. The fact that she got two bunches edged the rating up from very poor but as they missed her birthday and the delivery cost hasn't been refunded (which was a fairly empty gesture in the first place) it isn't a service I would use again.

We're really sorry about the delivery problem. The issue was not brought to our attention until that afternoon. We're putting processes into place to ensure there's no repeat of this incident. I appreciate this is of little consolation to you. Your delivery charge has definitely been refunded. Your card issuer should make the funds available shortly.

Flowers died within a few days. Some didn't even bloom before the others died.

Ordered the rainbow roses for my nana as she was unwell they were delivered very quickly and brought gorgeous colour to her front room they were beautiful and everyone commented on how pretty they were

The flowers arrived in good time, and in good condition. I ordered a standard size bunch of flowers and, as almost all of the flowers were in bud, it didn't seem very big, a little underwhelming. However, as the flowers opened over the next couple of days they were beautiful, and have lasted well, still looking good more than a week after receiving them. I would be happy to order again.

Absolutely wonderful flowers. My Mum had never seen such a display of Freesias. Delivered on time and packaged well. Will definitely be using Debenham flowers again.

I sent my sister a flowers for her 70th Birthday.. I had had to make the order more than a month earlier since I was going to be out of the country so I was slightly concerned the order would get lost in time But I am very pleased as I had not used Debenhams before ..all was well and they arrived as ordered My sister was delighted with them . Thank you !

The flowers were dry when delivered. It looked like they hadn't been in water for quite a while. Most of the flowers died within 2 days. Will not be using this service again

Wanted to update my review due to customer service received. After my flowers came 2 days late after paying for before 12pm delivery, I wasn't happy as it was for my girlfriend's 21st birthday. However, after writing up about how disappointed I was, Debenhams Flowers got in contact very quickly to help redeem what had happened. The customer service I received on this was very understanding and they offered me options to make up for the mistake. Hopefully this was a one off, and with how quick Debenhams got in contact, they didn't want an unhappy customer. I think I will give them a chance again next time I need flowers. Thank you.

Unfortunately I will be complaining and asking for a refund on my large bunch of peonies, which after 10 days have mostly died in bud form, despite me following care instructions to the letter. Totally unimpressed.

Oh dear, we're sorry to hear this. One of our team will be in contact to assist you. For future reference there are a couple of things you can do to encourage a peony to open. Firstly you can put the peony in warm water for a bit then back into cold. The other thing you can do is remove the excess sap. Sometimes peony are covered in a sap which stops them from opening. This can be removed by running them under warm water. Obviously it's too late for this bunch, so one of our team will be in touch to help you further.

The only negative I would say is I requested them to be left with a neighbour and they were left on the front door step-even the card that person that received them said it clearly started "to be left with a neighbour". Luckily no one took them!

I ordered a £50 bunch of flowers from your website for my Mum's 60th birthday. Currently I live in Malaysia and chose you, over M & S and Next, because of the details pertaining to the condition the flowers would arrive in / tracking the order using the confirmation number so I knew they would arrive in time for her special birthday. Unfortunately my Mum Face-timed me, a couple of days later, to say that even though the flowers arrived in a great condition, they did not last a full week. The roses had to go in the bin and the other flowers had wilted quite substantially. This was quite upsetting for me as I had chosen an expensive bunch hoping that they would last. I would like to add that she 'cared' for the flowers using the instructions provided and was quite diligent as to where she placed them / watered them etc. I understand that the condition of the flowers may be to do with your suppliers, so I contacted customer services because I obviously was disappointed and because I wanted to inform you that there might be an issue with your suppliers. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the service provided. The operator was really helpful when I explained the problem and offered to send a £30 bunch of flowers to my Mum which arrived the next day. There was no arguing or hassle which was refreshing as I know you must get some horrid customers who lie, but this genuinely was a 'real' case. My Mum received her bunch of flowers are was really pleased, as was I! I would definitely use your company again and would say your customer service team did an excellent job of helping me. People always remember receiving excellent customer service and I would tell anyone that yours is excellent. Thanks so much, Victoria

I was quite disappointed with the freshness of the flowers. They did not look like the pictures and I did not think the purchase was value for money.

Expected at least some of the fredhias to be in bloom but none were. Took three days for the first bloom to come - disappointed present for 43rd anniversary will not order again
