“Very disappointed. I ordered goods worth more than a thousand pound. Perfumes were opened and used to halfway, seals were broken, package not original. One of my perfumes l paid more than £70, in January this year, have not arrived, still says dispatched. Wonder where it was dispatched to. No customer service desk contact number, emails not responded to at all. This is disgusting, unacceptable for a shop which closed and still trading on line. “I ordered a jacket 2 weeks ago today but after reading numerous negative reviews online I wasn’t hopeful at all. However this morning I received an email from the courier to say it was out for delivery and it’s perfect! I must be one of the lucky ones. I marked down one star as I contacted Debenhams last week via email but no response so customer services seems non existent.”
“Exactly same experience as previous reviews. Ordered a perfume gift set which arrive with excessive damage to box and both bottles with lids off and broken. One bottle was empty. “I ordered a few items and received my order in good time thank you. However I was really disappointed at the coat I ordered I am a small size 8 but the sleeves were so narrow I wore the coat at home for one hour , and the material was dreadful, really very thine , and within the hour the materiel was bobbling really bad quality coat . “Ordered, account states all items 'dispatched' within a few days. Received courier notifications for two - these delivered within a week or so, but no courier notification for the other two. Now over two weeks since supposedly dispatched, but pretty obvious I won't be receiving them. Both items are from third party, my guess Debenhams haven't been paying third party suppliers, so they, quite understandably, aren't fulfilling orders. Either way, I'm out of pocket. I've contacted Debenhams customer services without reply. They must have know this when they took my order, despicable.”

“Do not order from Debenhams. I placed an order in mid December and still haven't received my order over a month later even though my money has been taken.
I have tried to contact customer services by email multiple times, but 2 weeks on, no one has responded.

I would avoid ordering from Debenhams at all costs because they will take your money but don't provide the goods and don't respond to queries.
This is not only a breach under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, it is theft. I appreciate they are closing down, which I was sad about, but Debenhams should not be trading if they are not able to provide the services people are paying for. That is theft.”
