“I placed an order on 27.06.20 and am still waiting on it on 10.07.20. I have contacted Debenhams twice by email and have received no response. Absolute disgrace. It doesn't look like I'm getting my purchase and they have my money. That's called stealing. Get a response to me as soon as!”

Written 3 emails and been into Debenhams store, coleisium Ellesmere Port who told me to email again , my emails would be answered and they have had MANY other customers in store with exactly the same complaint as mine. Still waiting for a response.

“Have not received my order. Placed my order on the 16th of June, recieved an email from Hermes asking me they could not deliver my goods and I had to contact debenhams. I have tried contacting debenhams numerous times but have not received any responses. I am utterly disappointed with such service.”
“DO NOT ORDER FROM DEBENHAMS ONLINE. There doesn’t seem to be any customer service support. Due to COVID-19, you can only email them which generates an automatic response. I returned my order over 5 weeks ago but they still haven’t refunded me or responded to emails sent. Also I got in touch twice on social media with just a generic response but still no help. I’m not the only one either there are so many customers waiting for items to be delivered or refunds on returned goods. Please do your research on what other customers are going through before you order. I wish I had. I have shopped here many times in the past but will never shop here again. I am now seeking help from a third party to try and get my money back, something I never thought I would have to do from such a major high street chain.”
“Worst on line shopping and customer service experience ever. Ordered with next day delivery, item never arrived, couldn't contact carrier (Hermes), Debenhams couldn't be called and didn't respond to multiple emails even when court action was threatened. After nearly a month I tried to post an accurate but damming review on their site. Within 2 working hours my money was refunded and the review was never shown. So reviews on their site are censored. Not even a token voucher was offered for all the time wasted and inconvenience caused. Complained about this again and got no response for 2 weeks when I got generic email asking what the problem was.”

“Very bad customer service, I know it's been a challenging time for everyone but Debenhams is the only place I've had issues with. I ordered a bracelet set over a month ago and it has still not arrived. I cannot track the package and nobody is responding to me in customer service or head office. I also returned 2 jumpers over 5 weeks ago and have still not received an update on my refund or any response from customer service. I think a lot of staff abandoned ship after being treated unfairly and now they are left with the repercussions. I order off them quite frequently but have stopped since still not receiving an update on my refund and missing package and have found alternative websites to order from instead. Very disappointed and frustrated at the service.”
