Recieved my parcel this afternoon
I opened the double duvet cover first due to the unsightly wrapping
I was disgusted at what I was looking at the duvet cover looked used washed and crushed up with purple ink on it and no pillow slips in sight
I immediately took pictures and put it back in the packaging and returned it via royal mail
I was shocked to think debenhams could send an item out in such a state
I've been shopping with debenhams for more than 30years
After this experience I would never shop from debenhams again I had to go out of my way to return this item
There is No way of speaking to customer service you have to chat via facebook Instagram or tweets
I chose Facebook here's there response

I am very sorry to hear that. For future faulty items we would ask that you let us know before returning as we may not ask for the item to be sent back.
As you have returned the item today please allow until the 11th August for the item to be received & refunded. If you haven't been refunded by the 11th August then get back in touch and we can sort this for you."
I Must now wait till 11th August for a refund
Since the stores have closed the online shopping has gone downhill....

There is no contact number for them no email address you have to use Facebook Instagram or tweets

They have lost me as a customer I would not recommend them in fact I've already told all my friends and family of this experience with debenhams and to stop shopping with them as it's not worth the trouble when they send you out rubbish that's fit for the dustbin I am so angry..”
