. Email came on delivery day 6th to say would be 7th. No goods arrived. MARKED AS DESPATCHED But Hermes still awaiting parcel on tracking.
Sent two emails to Debenhams but NO REPLY TO EITHER.
I NOW INTEND TO TRY CHARGEBACK AT THE BANK IT IS THE ONLY OPTION LEFT!!!”
“I ordered a birthday gift online, 3 weeks ago. Within 24 hours, Debenhams said the item had been sent - amazing, as I'd expected a delay due to Covid! I was even more surprised when Hermes tracking promised delivery by 18th May. Sadly, it's now 3 weeks later, and my delivery still hasn't arrived. Hermes said to contact Debenhams, so I sent an email on 23rd May, but have heard nothing since, other than an acknowledgement that they'd received my email advising me that I shouldn't send them any further emails, as they were so busy! I had difficulty in finding out how to query non-delivery on the Debenhams website,
as this doesn't seem to be included in their FAQ's. I'm unlikely to risk ordering from Debenhams online again in future, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else, either. Disappointing.”
“If I could give Debenhams 0 stars I would. They may be fine if you go to the shop but just forget it if you need something online and particularly if you need something on their so called next day delivery service. On 2 occasions now I have used this and both have been a nightmare. The first time I needed shoes and bag for a wedding and needed them urgently so used the next day Hermes courier service. It didn’t arrive the next day or the day after or the day after that! Ended up having to go elsewhere. All the time Debenhams and Hermes were saying the package was delivered but were never able to offer any evidence of this. Strangely the parcel ended up being thrown over my garden fence about a month later. I swore never to use them again. However, this year I received vouchers for Debenhams as a present and with them potentially and quite understandably about to go bust I was forced to place another order. Given the hot weather I opted for a fan and paid the extra for the next day delivery as the standard delivery slot was after the good weather was due to break. It was not delivered the next day or the day after that or the day after that. Yesterday I receive an email to say that it had been delivered and a family member had signed. I was home alone all day and certainly did not sign for anything. When I try to check the signature it brings up a message to say that due to Coronavirus hermes are not collecting signatures. I can’t get in touch with Debenhams, they don’t respond to emails and the call centre is closed. I don’t know if I’m going to get reimbursed. I wouldn’t bother using Debenhams particularly their next day delivery service. The similarities between my 2 experiences which are 2.5 years apart are too close to be a coincidence”

“Placed an online order at the end of March and only part of it was received. The three beauty products are still awaited and it is impossible to get them to respond to emails, Twitter and Facebook.
