“top spec bike - similar bikes elsewhere cost twice as much”

“I bought a new shimano sora crankset in store and also paid for the installation, a few days later the pedals started to get lose and fell off the crank. When I came back to Decathlon Surrey Quays the manager refused the replacement or refund for the defective part saying it could've been my fault. Costumer service in store absolutely despicable. I had to contact costumer service by phone to and say I'd take legal action if the broken part is not replaced or refunded, horrible experience!”

“We had never heard of Decathlon until a few years ago and i cannot recommend them enough. They are always happy to help, everything is mega cheap and extremely good quality even branded items are competitively priced. Love this shop!!!!”

“The staff helped me find the right sports wear and guided me to quality products that were not too expensive. I was also helped with some fitness equipment, and not just left to self select. Going the extra mole means I will go back for other equipment I need in the future.”

“Placed an order for a tent online for store collection. Unfortunately the warehouse did not despatch the order in time so it was delayed by a day which was a problem as we were going away on holiday and needed it. I phoned the store (Chelmsford) and a "superstar" called Jake did everything possible to get this for us in time for our holiday including actually sending a member of the store team to deliver it to me on the morning of our holiday. Amazing customer service!!! Thank you to Jake and also to Tom who delivered it for us. Hats off to Chelmsford Store but not such a good performance from the Warehouse”

“Placed an order on 27th of June, order accepted and due for delivery on the 5th of July. Nothing arrived. Sent email to customer support which has gone unanswered. Now the 7th of July and still no order or reply. Disgraceful service.”
