they provide a great platform to order the things you need and have them delivered to a store or directly to you. they are quite fast at turning orders around. The big minus for me is in the UK they are removing the larger sizes, which is very annoying. Quite frequently in the stores i am told oh thats only availiable in France in your size. The online ordering is UK centric, so if i want a 4xl shirt i need to go to france.

Your sizing is wrong. LARGE chest size is not 38" to 40", that is MEDIUM

Good points and bad. Good stock of reasonably priced sports gear, however customer service can be very hit and miss: particularly the bike service. One of the big issues is that a lot of the staff don't have English as a first language so lots of communication problems, but also the bike service desk is not always manned and you can't book appointments so even once you've paid for your service, no guarantee of quality and should you need to take it back, no guarantee that the work is done when you need it to be.

I thought buying an inner tube for a road bike would be easy took the size of the tyre and ordered accordingly, however when fitting the partial inflation made the inner tube about an inch longer than the wheel so was fitted with a fold in it, not ideal

Ordering and delivery went smoothly. Only 3 months in and having problems with my front shifter skipping. Will not be using the service again unfortunately.

I was very pleased with the speed in which my order was delivered. However very disappointed with the amount of time it took for a refund to be processed and the fact that returns are at the cost of the customer. When you are returning bulky item such as wellingtons this can be very costly.

The lack of public toilets for customer at your Belfast site 18 months after they were highlighted is a sheer disgrace. Your CEO should be ashamed.

The jacket we ended up purchasing was great and my daughter really feels comfortable in it -not too heavy and bulky, yet warm enough for UK weather. We also used it for skiing and it was great then too - albeit with some more layers underneath. My main negative experience with shopping at Decathlon is the returns procedure in that I needed to take the package to the post office. Most other companies offer a Collect + service in additional to using the Post Office. Unfortunately until this changes I will probably be reluctant to purchase from them again.

Happy with speed of delivery and almost all the products. The child's riding hat is appalling though and rubs on her forehead and leaves red marks.

Delivery was prompt but sizing guide was not helpful. The sizing suggests a range rather than precise equivalents. I had to drive to the shop to replace everything, which defeated the object of ordering online.

I bought a Forclas 600 Black with red trimmed fleece. I had problems with the purchase because you do not stock this fleece at Croydon. I had to return three times until the 2XL fitted me. This involved a 10 mile round trip each time (3) as well as the total time spent trying to work out the correct size. It seems that your sizes do not correspond to the sizes of fleeces available at Cotswold for instance as I have never had to purchase a garment of this rating before. My current old fleece is L. The cashier who served me each time and two members of staff were helpful. When I visited 2 weeks ago during the week my daughter and I had trouble finding a member of staff to her. Martin Willmot

The table tennis table was just what we wanted and has provided lots of fun, the delivery however was not do not expect to have anything as a surprise as they will also inform your child what they are delivering despite it being just before xmas and it obviously being a present one surprise present spoilt and decathlon didn't care when I informed them. Table tennis table excellent delivery poor.

Great prices and good quality, great for many sports, it's difficult to go there without buying something! Still fairly poor shelf space management though, there are often no prices marked on items or a different price comes up at the till, often sale prices online are not present in store. I shop there now by ordering online and collecting from store but still have a browser on occasion.

When ordering online it should be made clear how long a store will hold your goods before cancelling the order if collection from store is chosen. This information should be obvious before the order is made.

The sizing of ladies clothes is unsatisfactory. The leg length of trousers is linked to the size so it seems that if you get fatter you get taller, but if you are thin you can't be tall. I am a 6 feet tall size 10 and none of the trousers are long enough for me. The choice of ladies hiking and mountain clothing is very limited, I would like to see a larger range, like there is for the men.
