Ordering was OK until it went through and then I discovered the item was being shipped to me and not the person for whom it was intended. There was no apparent place to insert this information. However I was able to intercept the order before it was sent and hopefully it arrived safely and in time. Good selection of goods to chose from and efficient processing otherwise.

Disappointed at amount I had to pay to return goods - most other companies have free returns. For this reason, I'm reluctant to order from Decathlon again.

Howdy, I am generally satisfied with the service. However, there were a couple of occasions where the adding to basket -> checkout process failed because of a software bug and there also seemed to be incorrect reporting of the stock availability. The use of signed-for delivery service is not really useful to me as I have things delivered when I'm at work. Regards, Felix Dansey

Good value clothing and equipment Poor customer service: sold wrong sized bike despite going in for fitting; two weeks delay in delivery despite calling ahead and told will be on time; follow up for service and again told couldn't accommodate me despite calling ahead! If you know what you want then good value but don't expect much in terms of advice or help!

Ordered some hiking back packs that were on offer. Backpacks were received on time but quality was not up to the standard I was expecting. The material appeared quite thin and not substantial enough to hold a decent amount of weight. Service overall was decent.

530 exercise bike, good product but supplied with wrong adapter. Took 2 attempts to get it sorted but 2nd time part arrived next day. Will use decathlon again, having since bought kit & trainers

Your website is a bit ropey...not convinced I got the right sizes sent to me on 2 items. Prices are good and in store experience is great. However, lots of improvements needed on website. Need new ecommerce & service solution. Call me at Oracle!

I have been Decathlons biggest supporter for many year's have introduced my family and friends to your store and products. very dissatisfied with a recent click and collect item return. Despite spending £2.80 to return an item I found out only way replacement could be dealt with is through click and collect. I LIVE 100 MILES FROM MY NEAREST DECATHLON. someone needs to get a thinking cap on. I have spent hundreds of pounds in your stores all over Europe over a 15 year period.

The reason that your replacement was required to be sent to the store was because your original order was a click and collect order and we are unable to change between different order types. We have since refunded you the full amount so if you wish to have the item still you can place a new order and select delivery to your home address. I was happy with the items from Decathlon, however I'd paid extra for courier delivery by DHL as these items were required for a kayaking training session on a specific date. DHL failed to deliver in time, firstly claiming they could not locate my address, then secondly a day later stating delivery could be made at 8pm on the date required. The items were required for 6pm. This is the reason I have not purchased from Decathlon since. Whilst happy with the Decathlon service, the extra paid for the courier and failure to deliver in time soured the experience and has put me off using Decathlon online again. Your website shows some items then when you scroll down you can opt to see more. This is time consuming and annoying when you can't see the items on successive pages.

Every year on our annual visit to England we buy a quantity of Kalenji socks Eliofeel High White (Item 534169). For years we have been very satisfied with these socks as they were made with a high percentage of cotton. The current socks are made from 94% polyamide which have a very unpleasent feeling even when touched. Unfortunately we do not live in England otherwise we would changed them. The products and delivery were as promised. The obligatory customer registration, however, was unnecessarily detailed, and I have since been getting unwanted emails that I can't unsubscribe from without closing the whole account. Worse, there seems to be no way to delete the account without contacting a store.

Happy with the service itself. As far as the products go, the trousers were fine but the hem on the jacket keeps curling up at the back. Not ideal when you're trying to keep your work clothes dry.

From giving the order via internet to receiving the goods, not quick enough. Compared to Amazon, you need to find a quicker way of despatch. My parcel took ages to arrive and I thought at first it had gone adrift. Apart from this, everything else ok.

My initial interaction through the website and booking to collect the item was smooth and efficient. When I went to the store to collect the items, it was a challenge to find a staff member to assist me and when i finally managed to find a member of staff, the girl could not track my items and after numerous questions to other staff she finally located the items after approx 15 mins. This last part of the service let the entire process down.
