“I've tried many desert boots over the years and as a girl I have settled with Roamers for fit as they don't come up too high at the ankle. If I were to make them better I'd add a more padded insole as they're quite hard - for now I always have to put insoles in myself. They last well though and are super comfy once worn in.”

“Great colour (Bordeaux). Glad I went down a size and they fit well. Best for Autumn and Spring rather than winter as they aren't lined but I enjoy wearing them indoors too.”

“Received boots that were marked, so I returned these and I am still waiting for the exchanged item over a week later. I explained by email and phone that these are for a present this weekend and not for Christmas. Not sure if I would order with them again once I finally receive my exchange.”

“I bought the Red Tape GOBI II in Maroon as a present for my husband. I could not fault the service and quick delivery, however the quality of the item itself leaves much to be desired. It was of cheap quality with very poor finish. But I guess, in this instance, you get what you paid for. Be aware that the end product does not look as good as it does in the photo.”

“You need to improve on the return feature fore the people that live in the USA. We do not use post code and it is very hard to complete. I finally had to send it the regular way that cost more money. I have dealt with the U.K. Before, but it was nothing like this”

“I've given a poor mark because I was absolutely astounded to discover that these (otherwise very good) boots have only half an insole in each boot. Yes, the insole just stops halfway in! I now have to buy leather insoles myself - which nobody should have to do for a new pair of shoes. Cheapskates is all I can think. Will not buy Roamer again.”

“Shoes arrived with a black mark and had to be returned,after fist mailing them a photograph of the damage, eight days later told that they had not yet been received and would probably be at least another Seven days before they had them back; and only then could I expect a replacement pair. This way of dealing with customers is far from satisfactory, and I for one would not deal with them again. I await my refund of both the purchase price and my return postage costs at their convenience once again. This is by far the worst online buying experience I have had to date.”
