“I was very happy with my product, It fits, my daughter loves it. It was delivered on time, It was exactly what I ordered and looked exactly like the pic. Great job guys. Will for sure look for her next costume here.”

“I placed an order, they took my money and now the seller is refusing to ship because “I did not choose the “option””. I actually DID choose “the option”, which was not an option, only one choice. The seller is telling me I have to cancel the order and choose “I don’t want it” as my reason. I cancelled the order and chose “seller can’t provide quantity / items”. Now the seller is refusing my refund. The seller did not contact me to say there was a problem until 6 weeks after I placed the order. This is a clunky portal at best, and from what I can tell the items for sale probably don’t exist. Very disappointed.”

“DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THEY WILL NOT SHIP YOUR ORDER BUT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY! I’ve contacted the Better Business Bureau and my Credit Card Company THEY ARE THIEVES”

“I ordered a dress from this company in January in 1 day it will be march, I still haven't received my dress. I've gotten many excuses like " we are off 15 days for our holiday." Then theres " I'm urging the factory to finish and ship your dress." I've tried my hardest to get a refund and nothing. Every time I ask to receive the link to get my refund I am told that I have to wait 1hr then 4hrs then 1day or 2 days. This place is a scam do not buy anything.”

“I was very disappointed to receive an email saying that all my orders have been cancelled. Due to verification payment failure Which I did not understand I contacted my bank and they said it was fine and had gone through. However there was a link on my account suggesting I should press a button which asked for a photograph of my credit card a copy of my bank statement and last 4 digits of my credit card. No one would ever do that I would never ever had such information over. I want a refund for larger items that had been cancelled and will not be using them again. Honestly it sounds like a scam.”

“No response from seller after 4 messages, Customer Service run by Bots that can do nothing. Now I will have to wait a month to see if seller has sent the correct item, if not I will send it back to China at my expense and spend weeks no doubt chasing my refund, if I ever get it! I would never use this site again, and I advise everyone not to use it. Amazon is a million times better.”

“I purchased a dress from this company. The sleeves were so small that I could not wear the dress. There was no measurement for the sleeves. After many frustrating attempts with there supposed customer service I was told I was able to return the dress at my expense. What a joke, it cost twice what the dress cost to return. $209.00. When I tried to email them to tell them about this, my emails were blocked. I will be reporting them to the Netter Business Bureau. This is false advertising. Customer satisfaction guaranteed, that's a joke with this company. Buyers beware. You to will be scammed.”

“I would suggest buying from DHgate , the company is in China . Its likely a fraud or scam , you would definately lose your money of what you paid for . You won't even get your order in the mail I've never bought from the company and would not recommend I bought from an online business called - wish.com I was a bit weary of buying from a business that ships items from China I was lucky to get my parcel in the mail Daryl S , Canada 😳”

“BEWARE! difficult refunds and returns if you receive defective items! extremely difficult and the worst thing is the dispute representative is terrible at handling such case. They even advised me to take the partial refunds and keep the defective items instead of returning the order and claiming a full refund. very disappointing!”

“WARNING!! I would not purchase anything from this company! Product quality is more than poor. Customer service more than poor you will Not get any response or even a refund of your money. They will sell you stolen phones that you can't use and you will be out of your money! No matter how many emails you send. They will send you empty packages or even send it to the wrong address. They are a bunch of THIEFS and Crooks! DO NOT WAIST YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS WEBSITE!”

“Takes over a month to receive items. When you have an issue DHgate says to contact seller. When doing so sellers NEVER respond or it says seller is not longer on this site. Dont ever expect to get a response from ANYONE on this site. I do not recommend.”

“I ordered a watch for $149.29, when I tried to contact the seller they either don't exist or are closed. When I contacted DHgate they told me to contact seller but obviously I can't. Also I cant get any help form DHgate. DONT NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS SITE.”

“The dispute resolution function is exceedingly poor. They ask for evidence which is difficult to provide and then they don't evaluate it well. Importantly they give you hardly any time to respond or reject their proposals (say 48 effective hours total when one allows differences in time zones). Regarding a poorly made Saxophone mouthpiece, which I asked to be replaced, they contacted me on 2 Feb asking for evidence by 5 Feb, which I supplied on the same day. On 3 February they came back, offered me half my money back but agreed only half of the evidence but I hadn't given proof that the mouthpiece wasn't playable - how could I do that? I tried to make a counter proposal but they timed me out on 5 Feb and closed the dispute (was going to send the item back but by then I had no postal address to send it to, so couldn't do it immediately and was automatically timed out). Don't buy from them unless you can afford to write off the purchase. I have bought three items from different vendors through DHGate - two good and one bad. However without a decent means of dispute resolution I would strongly recommend avoiding DHGate. Chinese goods can be excellent and excellent value but one needs an effective returns and dispute resolution system: they don't! They are allegedly sending me and inadequate US$20 in lieu of return which I did not agree. Maybe I'll get it and maybe not. Dreadful!”
